This is something to get behind whether the naysayers like it or not, the losses and lack of consistency are certainly frustrating though, put it this way if be more concerned if we were 3rd but scraping wins and getting lucky in games putting us in a false position ala Conte's 2nd season.

Suggest you guys just buckle up, drop the silly agenda and get used to a full season of Ange ball.

Last season early on when the results were there the advanced stats were poor.

This season the underlying numbers have been great but individual mistakes have let us down.

If we clean up the mistakes and keep playing like we have the results will come

We are tending in the right direction

Guy who considers talkSPORT to be worthwhile football analysis out here talking about engaging in “rational debate”, fuck me sideways.

:maddisonhmm:
football analysis? its content that actual spurs fans might be interested in you weirdo.

end of the day youre an ange fanboy lol you know how pathetic that is? i mean following any man about is tragic as it is but ange postecoglou looool. chin up son, life must get better eventually.

I thought the tactics yesterday was spot on, normally it's so chaotic and frantic that, games could go either way.
But yesterday after surviving an early onslaught, the team steadied and took their chances.
Once they was 3-0 up, I thought defensively we looked solid enough when we stepped off it a bit.
Maybe that's the answer, sometimes away from home, we just need to have a solid base to launch attacks from.

There are a couple of posters who are just doom and gloom before a ball is even kicked. We're doing fine in all competitions so I don't get the negativity. We're playing some really good stuff 80% of the time.
Sorry but we aren’t playing good stuff 80 per cent of the time. That’s inaccurate. But that takes nothing away from what was an outstanding effort and performance yesterday

He rightfully gets criticised for the mistakes he has made.
But he deserves to get all the credit for getting that team yesterday to perform like that. Fair play to him
Exactly. I dont know how its somehow got controversial on here to criticise defeats to Palace and Ipswich and the way we went about those games or to praise the wins and excellent performances against Utd and City.

Ange and the team need to show a bit more consistancy. All the time we're 6th/7th or higher and in touch with those above us happy to see how it plays out and review at the end of the season. If you are hovering around 10th or lower you'll get criticised and be under pressure. Thats not specific to Postecoglou, its the same for any manager of a big club

Another embarrassing post from this dribbling melt. Sit down Davey.

What a convenient position that is, when we lose it's because of Ange and when we win it's nothing to do with him. You're never wrong!
:mourhandlaugh:
what hallmarks did he have over yesterday? maddison had the game of his spurs career that set the tone. what of the goals were a product of 'angeball'? the last two are counter attacks which is the complete opposite of what its mean to be and the first 2 were moments of individual brilliance...in fact you can sort of say the 3rd was largely down to individual brilliance from kulu while also being a part counter attacking goal.

He's beginning to grow on me...

Ah, so this is the ‘rational debate’ you engage in. Yes yes, very interesting and pertinent points raised.

So really there’s no need for a manager / coach, Levy just has to give them all a leaflet as they go in the team bus outlining the basics and say you all know what your doing or at least should going by what I’m paying you so crack on & good luck
