Just weird he didn't get a look in today. Bournemouth away, chelsea, don't look like the games for it. So that's at least the next two it's still Porro.
Bearing in mind we can't play him in EL; Fulham at home (where we'd rightfully be expected to play on the front foot) was the perfect opportunity.
This is exactly what I mean you play him today with a supportive home crowd not away in a tight ground against a rested Semenyo. It was the same lack of simple game smarts that plays Mikey Moore away at Palace against Tyric Mitchell. This stuff should worry anyone who understands the game.
There was a game last season, can't remember which, where we also had no striker/Son as a striker. Brought on Scarlett and we immediately were better. Not saying Scarlett is a great player, but at least he is a striker. As is Lankshear. Son and Kulusevski aren't.
The odd few minutes we've seen from him , he's done ok
At the very least Kulu has the physical presence and hold up ability that Son, Wener & BJ lack.

Considering the other bad choices I've seen Ange and the club make over the years, I cannot see a reason Spence can't get more regular game time, especially in garbage time or against lower tier clubs. Utterly bizarre situation.
Of course he signed it. He’s not turning down guaranteed money just because of a minor inconvenience like never actually playing in any football matches.
Impossible to tell exactly what's going on behind the scenes, but I really feel for Djed. Thought he looked a lot sharper, defensively aware and focused in the limited amounts we've seen since pre-season and, perhaps most importantly, eager to impress.
Frankly I think he's being treated like shit. Porro was visibly gassed in the Fulham game and not playing particularly well either imo.

I just don’t think he likes/rates the kid, whether it’s his attitude related we’ll never know.It made complete sense to play him yesterday ant some point and once again he’s kicking his heels.
I agree, but if the boy is that much of an arsehole then surely he would be training with the kids and nowhere near the first team squad?
Yeah it’s bizarre.It was only 4 months ago in pre-season he’d won ange over and was working his way back in getting game time,he had a really impressive cameo against Coventry, since then literally nothing.
For me udogie has been a liability recently, and he’s not offered a great deal in an attacking sense.
Spense deserves a crack, I’ll be very surprised if that happened though.
