He stumbled on BMJ as well when Santini walked after 10 games saying he had been lied to . He did well getting Poch , but we only got him cos Van Gaal backed out and went to United.
He really is the gift that keeps on giving if you are a fan of our rivals
I wonder if we lose to Tamworth he will repeat his winning is hard bullshit , it really wouldn’t surprise me . His conceited sense of self belief , without any justification for it knows no bounds imho

He played his 300th pl match yesterday.
I could not believe it when the stat came up.
Something like 22 transferwindows gone and we never upgraded on Ben davies.
He is a likeable person but at which top 10 club does a player like ben davies get 300 games.
For me he is just another symbol for a lack of ambition in the last 10 years

He's been playing because everyone else is injured. He's a squad player now, we've literally upgraded Ben Davies with Udogie.
We also upgraded with Sess and Reguilon, both players plenty were excited about. Hes outlasted both of those.
He's not a bad option to have kicking around for these moments, has barely put a foot wrong.

I am glad He played so good in the last few weeks it just seems to be wrong that it all came to this

Davies has always been underrated. It is a fact that during the 16-17 season when we finished second. Ben made more appearances than Danny Rose at left back. And not because of injuries. He plays left centre back in a 3 for Wales but to put him in a back 4 at centre back is pushing it. He looked to be struggling when he grabbed a Bournemouth player on the halfway line . Possibly was struggling with his hamstring which later went pop and off he went. If he plays as a left back we can get away with it as he could sit back and let Porro go further forward.
But no, Ange cannot adapt his tactics so Ben has to go into midfield and often ends up in the pen area .
Last season I thought this refusal to change would kill Ange. Ange Sinatra…..I’ll do it my way and sod the lot of you.
He deserves our respect; not to be smeared in this way.

Exactly, it’s not Ben Davies fault that all his supposed replacements turned out to be worse than him. Reguilon, Sessegnon, Lenglet, they were all dreadful and he deserved to keep his spot ahead of them all these years.

You should be pissed at those that failed to usurp him despite their significant fees (Sess 28m+ Onomah, Reg 38m, Sanchez 40.... Also Foyth, Rodon, Lenglet); not taking cheap shots at him.
.........As already put to you he played more in the peak Poch team than Rose did and has since evolved into become a very good back-up CB.

Ben Davies: Top servant. A few more like him wouldn't have gone a miss over the last 10 years.

I think I made it more than clear that he reminds me of the failures in player recruitment and missed oppurtunities of the last 10 years.
Its not like levy is on the pitch/ in the dugout every game. He hides in his Box or in the terraces and I See him for a few seconds per season. If he was more present it would be easier to project my anger and frustration at him.
Instead I watched ben davies for 450 hours in the league for 10 years.
I know ben davies is the least of our problems these days but that wasnt always the case and that in itself is a problem. We regressed as a club not because of ben davies but with him and he reminds me of that fact.

No owners sit in the dug out........ They all (at most) sit in a box.... Plenty (eg Glaziers, Kronke) don't even do that.
