He's a counter attacking manager, if he was given more time and told to just get results instead of trying to play a certain way, he would've done that. Ten Hag did exactly that 3 games into his reign at Man Utd, same with Maresca this season.

He got Wolves to 7th in back to back seasons, he definitely could've finished somewhere around there with us.
His failure is almost entirely on Paratici and Levy. He would 100% of got us competitive had we been built in his image. We were like a cut and shut car. Welded together bits of diffrent vehicles and unwilling to spend on any quality. Kane was pissed and sulking Paratici forbid him to play the way he wanted you can't hamstring any kind of authority figure this way. That Levy allowed it still horrifies me. He better give Ange what he needs to at least try and do what he wants starting in Jan because the squads creaking now.

He was bought in to be a placeholder for Conte, nothing more

Nuno is currently doing far more with far less than Ange Postecoglou. NUNO FFS.
He was always a better more qualified man, working in his second language. Sold out by Paratici forbidden to do what he wanted. You will have ask yourselves why some found his competence so hard to buy into, especially when you contrast the largesse given to a less qualified Australian.

I have have concluded this much from it: Daniel Levy is at his most dangerous when doing something he thinks is the "Tottenham way". He doesn't know what that means or looks like. So the football illiteracy of Postecoglou tolerated as 'on brand' Nuno and Conte bored...so not us. He doesn't understand even the very basics of the game.

Nuno was sacked with a record of 5 wins , 5 defeats

That was deemed unacceptable just a few short years ago

Now it's ok to lose 7 in 15 , have 9 defeats out of last 15 away , one clean sheet at home in about 30 odd games

Our standards have completely eroded in the last couple of years

Yup standards were a lot higher when we had Harry Kane. Anything other than top 4 was seen as a terrible season.

Losing Harry Kane and starting a new project under Ange has naturally lowered expectations.

Enic are great business people, and in a way I can see why we’re lucky to have them in charge BUT they are also good at managing expectations and in the same way as multi-million dollar films get re-cut after test-screenings in places like Boise , Idaho ; they do just enough to keep just enough people happy to make sure the film / club makes back it’s costs with a bit left over . It’s the business part of show-business; at the end of the day . IMO .

The bloke would never have succeeded with us. The nature of him joining us and the negativity of fans and players would have seen to that.

As others have mentioned, and like Chris Wood touched on, sometimes it's right type of club for talent and expectation. For now Forest are like Wolves were under Nuno for a while. Harder to sustain.

Pochettino, and stating the obvious was our last made to fit appointment. Both parties probably look back and think what should have been.

Postecoglou ain't the right fit but he spoke with sense about the so called mystique and hoodoo at the club. It's sh!t and it needs to be changed.

To start with, we need another striker and a proper DM, and to get rid of the players who simply can't perform to the need. Bissouma being one.

Excellent analogy. And ten years later the director who actually cared about the art, will release a special edition for the real devotees with the voice over at the end removed. Even if it leaves said clowns in Biose Idaho confused about who the replicant was.

Keith the general said it most succinctly. "There used to be a football team over there."

I agree completely; 100 % .

Wouldn’t it be great if football worked that way …. I could cry .

Look on the bright side: It must be particularly painful for Wolves fans.

They had some great times with Nuno at Wolves but sacked him eventually. Now he's at Forest near the top of the table and Wolves are heading right back to where they were when Nuno took over. Back to square one.

Nuno mate you've made me proud of you.

what does the one clean sheet at home in 30 games have to do with anything? we score goals so that sounds like dumb cherry picking activity to boost an argument

its not ok to lose these games, but they believe the team has been unlucky to lose that many and they also see the upside with massive wins against pep man city, villa and united, they expect the team to improve and so should you
