Without fatty we will have far fewer injuries

Romero (or replacement), VdV, Drag, Davies, Vuskovic and one new signing. Would be fine

it was so weird that interview. The ONE time he smiled and looked the interviewer in the eye.

Actually, his personality is arguably his biggest strength. I know it sticks out like a sore thumb because it is not backed by anything concrete, but it's a crucial asset a manager must have regardless.

That's probably how he got the job in the first place with that vastly underwhelming resume of his, and also got these players to believe in his unorthodox -to say the least- ideas.
A wimpy version of him would have lost the dressing room before the first kick-off. Someone who lacks an aura like his ( I don't know, Solskjaer maybe?) faces the risk of becoming too buddy-buddy with players. It's not sustainable in the long run.

I don't think Romero was putting up an act when he was singing Ange's praises for example. He knows how to talk the talk, that's what makes him captivating to some. So he doesn't seem like one that would lose the dressing room due to what's happening on the pitch. Players are still playing for him, albeit mostly unsuccessfully.

Yep, fair post, although it's also possible that stronger characters may have called this paucity of performance and results out.

I guess it's how you choose to look at it.

This is fucking chilling. I think half the people pretending we have to keep Ange for whatever reason don't really care. They don't go to games have never seen us win trophies. Spurs hasn't been part of their life. It's just a fun online pass time like an extension of fantasy football.

That's fine it's cool, I'm not judging but I've given thousands to this team. I've been up and down the country and all over Europe. I've worked for the club four years ago ( and I was stupidly proud). Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman Murphy Murphy Bazali Bazali Cranston Cranston SpaggyBoy SpaggyBoy there's loads of us been committed to Spurs in a real and lived way for decades. We genuinely hurt watching this children's football.

I don't expect massive budgets and billions on players but I expect competence. And I'm telling anyone that genuinely cares that competence is beyond this coach and his assistants. Standards are so low now that there's people think we can't do better, when short term that's the easiest bit to correct. But don't dig out anyone who wants him gone immediately in whatever way possible because we earned the right to speak the truth.

Didnt watch the Liverpool game and didn't watch today (even though I have Discovery+) as I had little to no hope of us winning. Or even looking like winning.

I am doing Wolves. Purely to meet up with an old work colleague (Derby) who is taking his 11 year old son to his first Spurs game. I did try and warn him that his boy would be in for a lifetime of pain and disappointment.

But at that age you don't know any better do you?

This will be my 5th Spurs game this season so you could say even at my age I don't know any better.

I’ve spent money on the club in the past. I think everyone who posts on this forum gives this club enough of their time to care. There is no cult of Ange, the only cult everyone in here (well, i wonder at times with some) is in, is the cult of Spurs.

I don’t and haven’t given the club as much as you sound like you have but although I struggle to care since the end of Conte, I’d love to see this club succeed and I’d love to see it for the more dedicated people like those you tagged. I just don’t think we will get that success if we don’t break that culture of flip flopping from project to project.

I get that you think this manager is incompetent and maybe I don’t know football as well as you but I just don’t think it’s ever as simple as fans think it is. Our form is sackable and if a new manager comes in, I hope you get the relief from what you are dead set on as being at fault. I have my reservations about that making any real difference though.

I understand people hate Levy & ENIC but people are saying if we get rid of him they win?

Using the same logic isn't supporting this club in any way shape or form winning for them?

For me, I'd like to get back to a stage of not hating the manager for talking pure deranged shit

What many in the Ange-out camp
Are saying is that yes Levy is our underlying problem. And stops us winning the league no matter who the coach is. But this coach is pony. He’s tactically dreadful. And the Levy/ENIC model absolutely provides funds for much better performance than this

I get that & I get that Levy & ENIC would of hired Scott Munn

Ange is a Scott Munn pic
