Anywhere he goes will be a cut in pay. I think his attitude will change once that sinks in.
Romero joining his compatriot Simeone at Atletico Madrid is one option. Wages would not be the issue- they're still have players like Cesar Azpilicueta on their books who earns close to what we pay Romero and generally they aren't scared of paying big wages and fees . The only thing is Gimenez is locked in on that RCB for years now and one of the leaders. But you'd think Simeone could do wonders with Cuti.

Since the Chelsea 9 man collapse he’s 17-6-21 in the PL with a 38% win rate. With the 8 wins and 2 draws his full win percentage is about 50%.
Shocking and embarrassing stats. The lack of draws just sums up the chaos.

Have been more than patient with the guy (mainly due to being sick of the manager merry-go-round} but enough is enough. Indefensible run of results/form with no tangible signs of improvement.

I just hope the bald parasite has a replacement lined up before pulling the trigger as it'll be you know who otherwise.

What a fucking complete shambles.

I don’t hate the fans or the club,

I don’t even want to see us fall to punish ENIC. If we somehow broke the cycle, I’d happily give Levy his flowers.

I’ve just seen this pattern repeat too many times to believe the cycle wont repeat so why go through the same dance over and over with different managers? So we can occasionally finish 4th and continue being the butt of every joke about actually winning things.
I don’t understand why you carry on taking such an interest then?

Essentially you’re saying a) nothing will change absent ENIC out b) there’s no prospect of ENIC out

So why take an interest ? You could become a lay supporter of sorts, in the shadows but ready to jump back into view should ENIC ever leave

One thing I can’t blame him for is he’s essentially been the coach who has had to burden the end of the Kane & Son era. This club were fucking lucky to have had those two. Great balance between them, genuinely top class forwards in their primes, one for free the other for a pittance. You won’t strike gold like that again for a long time.

Son obviously still here but he’s not the same. He’s fully in his needs to be phased out and rotated phase. But any coach was going to find a degree of difficulty in dealing with the colossal hole left behind in terms of goal threat by these two.

I know people will say we score lots .. but to do so we basically unbalance our entire team. Son & Kane used to get insane returns whilst in low block teams. And their impact in other ways was tremendous too - Kane defending set pieces for example. Iconic.

Still manages a totally unnecessary ‘you’re putting words in my mouth’ comment.

He’s so dislikeable. Just a consistently unpleasant tool.
I don't get why people keep parroting the line that he is a nice guy

He's an arrogant deluded arsehole

There's nothing remotely cuddly and nice about him

All part of the narrative that has been spun by his cult followers

he genuinely thought he belonged with the big boys....off the back of winning leagues rated lower than the fucking championship. i mean its fucking embarrassing levels of delusion. im all for people being confident and arrogant in football but you better have the ability to back it up.

Ange should be able to take a team backstopped by Archie Gray and Radu Dragusin, and win top 4 in the premier league. I mean come on, if one of them goes down he has the likes of Yves Bissouma to play CB.

If you can’t win with that lineup you shouldn’t be in the PL. Inexcusable.

Back to wheeling out the injuries list... We've played like shit with a fully fit squad. Ange's record since the 10 game streak last year is fucking woeful, and not much better with it.

No one wants to go on the manager merry-go-round again, but we've firmly entered Joke Club territory & any "progress" is fleeting at best.

Losing your main center back is pretty much to worse thing that can happen to a squad. Go look at Liverpools win record without VVD, Arse without Saliba, City without Dias. All dropped significantly.

We are without both CBs and our keeper. Our first choice backup CB injured and replaced with an 18 year old who is not a CB.

We have continued to score plenty of goals through this patch, but simply cannot stop the rot at the back.

So, what should Ange have done against Forest? Park the bus and let them attack our makeshift defence? Or control the game, dominate the ball and score as we always do?

I'm not sure he got the game wrong. They didn't create much and their goal was a product of poor defending. We dominated the ball, but our players didn't deliver.

Kulu was too slow on the ball. Always holding onto it too long and getting tackled.

Solanke rarely looking for the goal and always with his back to goal looking to lay the ball off. He really suits being park of a strike pairing rather than a lone striker.
