Honestly so much bullshit around regarding how every manager we've had has gone on to show their quality afterwards, and how wrong we were to sack them.
Redknapp sacked by us - Proceeds to manage QPR through to relegation
AVB sacked by us - I don't even know what he did after leaving us but I know he's now packed in managing
Sherwood sacked by us - Managed for another year and a bit before every club realised he wasn't built for the job
Pochettino sacked by us - Let down by the board greatly, during his time for sure. But his reputation has never been as hot as it was when he was with us. PSG fans wanted him out and Chelsea fans spent most of their time wanting anyone else but him.
Mourinho sacked by us - Has gone on to manage those European titans of Roma and Fenerbahce. His league performance with Roma was more than underwhelming and the only reason he was acclaimed for the Conference League is that he's an excellent salesman. He convinced the world it was an important trophy, when everyone spent the whole year mocking it. We were told we should be relieved when we were made to forfeit the Rennes game resulting in us getting knocked out.
Nuno sacked by us - Nice guy. Happy he's found somewhere he fits.. But do you think that the football we saw from Forest yesterday could ever work with us? No.
Conte sacked by us - The one that looks like he may go on to do good work. However, I think most of us accepted that he has always been a gifted coach. It's just that his attitude was piss poor for a lot of his time here.
These managers have all been hung out to dry by Levy and Enic. And they will always be the biggest issue with us until they're gone. There's no argument there. However, this idea that any manager we've had has gone from showing absolutely nothing at Tottenham, to being serial winners elsewhere is a lie. Any manager that has talent or is not completely past it has been able to show that at least to some degree at Tottenham.
