Usually with this run of results owners are already talking to their replacement.

I can’t see anyone wanting to talk to Levy, so the spiral will continue I fear.
a 4 year contract at Spurs will be worth min £20m to a manager. I have no doubt someone like Iraola could negotiate £30m. It's a life-changing amount of money, working with a club budget that supports Top 5 and a decent pop at a cup. Good job.

Im hoping the board has contingencies in place. That brighton owner seems switched on as normally hires managers quickly. He did after potter and de zerbi were poached.
They’re one of the best run clubs around. Tony Bloom probably has a succession plan for everyone in the club whether it’s the manager, the reserve left back or the kit man.
Blimey if he were running Spurs for the past 20 years we’d have won a stack of trophies. No question.

With 3 at the back you only need 1 CB in the centre, you can use Gray on the right and Bissouma or someone else as the LCB as the wide centre backs operate more like defensive full backs. I appreciate we don’t even have 1 for CB at the moment.
I don’t see no reason why gray could play the middle of a back 3. It’s basically same as playing DM. Even bent could play that role. I’d push bias further forward as he cannot be trusted playing in front of CBs.

As a Spurs fan of 56 years I'm ashamed to admit that if it was guaranteed that AP was sacked this evening if we lost at home to Wolves today, then I'd happily take the loss:thumbdown:
See I want him gone but not at the cost of results or points. It’s fucking awful and the tipping point is coming but I want the team to win more than anything else.

Every loss is a step closer to him going, but it’s a step closer to the bottom 3. It’s not worth it. The deciding result *WILL* come OR results will turn a corner and it’ll work out.

Poch adapted a lot. We changed systems and tactics fairly regularly until the end when everyone ran out of gas. But always with his philosophy for football in mind. Same under Jose for that matter. And Conte notoriously changed systems between his first and second season.

And that's the difference between those three and Ange. They have a philosophy for football, but know that there are multiple ways to achieve it. Ange is all philosophy, no tactics.

Angeball is not a system or a tactic, it is a philosophy and idea. Nothing more.
I think it’s just make it up as you go along. I’d be amazed if we even practised playing off side. There is system or tactics. The play is to pass the ball out from the back and see what happens. We must be one of the worst teams for off the ball movement. When we get to pen box area we are relying on one twos or flicks to come off.

I don’t quite agree about you on the 10 regular first teamers missing through injury. As far as I can see , only Vic, VDV, Romero and Bentancur can be considered as regular first teamers, The rest are just part of the first team squad but hardly used regularly.

All clubs, every season, expect some players to unavailable due to injuries. It’s not exclusive to us only.
Bent was still avavilsbke for Europa so should have been fresh for those games and for his PL return.

Bollocks

Only Levy and ENIC appoint him in the first place. They can all fuck off. Levy, Ange, Munn, Lange, the fucking tea lady, the shite bar staff in the stadium all of them.
I agree with all of that, apart from the tea lady. In fact, think she would probably do a better job setting up the team 🤭

And this was almost 3 months ago.

Everything the guy says shows he has got no clue and no intention of doing anything other than his crazy game plan.

Sometimes you just need to scrape a point - we missed out on CL by 2 points last year. You’d learn every point is crucial, wouldn’t you?
he blamed the fans... despite everything that went before, according to some it was all about the city game. Because he is such a winner there was not even an attempt to see it from Spurs supporters' eyes. At the start it was "the fans will be the judge'. Bet he wouldn't have dared tried that stunt at Celtic.

I’m a Spurs fan of 57 years and I’m in that camp too. Only I’m not ashamed.
If Aussie Ardiles was in charge for Tamworth then ditto. I can take the embarrassment if it gives us the chance to resurrect the season with winning the EL which we really should do.
With him in charge we’ve no chance of anything. None.

The problem with this is that you're assuming that things would get better if we lose this manager, it doesn't work like that.

It's such a foolish thing to say, to want us to lose games to get rid of a manager to essentially roll the dice for a scenario that may not happen in your favour.

What all fans should be saying is that they want us to win today and want this manager to turn things round and go on a winning streak in order to prove them wrong.

The City thing last season was understandable but wanting to lose this fucking match is some clown shit.

it feels like he doesn't give a flying one. The club will still be here regardless. My guess is it could be damage (compensation) limitation at the moment and maybe the board trying to juggle to try and save some face. A win today may delay things in my opinion. Someone else posted that the League cup may be the trigger. I agree as there is time to salvage the Europa as our squad is good- it just needs a re-set.

Ange would be perfect for Bayern Munich or Real Madrid .. leagues where the comp is a 2-Horse-Race situation & the club/owners are ricchy rich.

NOT Spurs. I'd say he (& tactics) is not going to succeed in the EPL with the prevailing set up
