Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

why does everyone think its always starting again'? what has this fat cunt done? what work is there to undo? a competent football person comes in and makes a huge difference straight away, its not going to be some long miserable journey.
Perhaps initially, and for sure an immediate improvement would be welcomed, but I think the issue I and many others have is that “competent football person” or not, we’re likely going to be sitting around having this very conversation once again in 12/18 months time.

Poch Levy Mourinho et al were all competent football people for all intents and purposes.
They all ended in a firey blaze too.

Well, he’s just getting a head start on taking orders from our future manager, mate—makes sense to start early, right? 😂

But jokes aside, you’re spot on. If he’d shown this kind of pragmatism earlier, we might be sitting here with a few more draws or even a win or two, and the conversation about his future would feel a lot less grim.

That said, it’s all hypothetical—maybe things would’ve gone the exact same way regardless. Hard to say for sure.

What I do know, though, is that we probably wouldn’t be dealing with half the injuries we’ve got right now, which for me is the biggest issue when we are talking about his persistence with his style of play.
Why do you think Ange is causing the injuries ?
We’ve had bad injuries since we moved to the training ground

After today, as an outer, i'm not even angry at him like i was after previous matches. He adapted, he tweaked things. Udogie played a lot as almost 3CB in possession, we werent that much exposed. This match was different than it was vs Forest, Bmouth, CP, Ipswich and so on.

Both 2 wolves goals - not clear chances, very good shots (2nd one was mostly about that beautifull pass from Ait Nouri). Forster almost had nothing to do except for goals. We also didnt screw that much with playing from the back, we went long when needed

Think we could win if Johnson would be still at RW for those couple counters. Guys are definitely lost though in final 3rd, no patterns, we rely only on Deki/Solanke individually. Our attack is mess generally.

Kudos to Ange for trying something new. At least he is not that mad as i thought.
That’s why i think we were unlucky. Some of our players were pretty crap, but we had several high chance opportunities that were squandered. Counter attacking in the second was the right approach. Kulu could have just chipped the goalie at one point. I do think it’s a little too late for Postecoglu. Only a win was acceptable even though wolves were overall the slightly better team. Most players look dead on their feet.

I don’t know what they are doing in training but you don’t need to overwork players if they have a game every three or four days.

You're deluded if you think there's a big difference in ability and depth? Ait Nouri is another who's a top player and would likely walk into our team. They seemed to have more depth than us for a start... This team doesn't have match winners anymore. The days of us having Bale / Kane / Son to clutch games is long gone. Wolves can at least boast having a player of that sort of match winning ability within their team. All we have are match losers now thanks to the board. The biggest of late being Forster. Man shouldn't be anywhere close to playing for us at this stage of his career. Definitely all on Ange though isn't it 🙄

Their one excellent footballer went off at half time when we were winning. They have a decent left back and centre mid. Other than that their squad is fucking shit, they spent most of this season unable to buy a win.

Is this where we’re at, bigging up the Wolves squad?

Exactly

I don't think the majority of fans appreciate how average this squad is. That's not an excuse for Ange, but moving forward once Ange has gone and the new guy is in people will see that not much will really change. We might be a bit higher in the table but forget about being anywhere near the top 4.
I think it's hard to tell because they're playing in an apocalyptic system. Switch Porro and Udogie for proper FBs in a flat 4; feed Solanke instead of allow him to run anywhere apart from the box; organise possession so there's space for our pacy(ish) wingers to run into. I think we'd be doing much better against the fodder we've given up 3 points to - it might mean we'd be drawing instead of losing, but that's 1 point gained.

I'm not certain - I haven't seen a lot of our newer players playing not in a batshit system but...

"He fucking gone" said 2 of our ex legends so outwardly to the fans just a little while ago.

The frauds time is nearly up. Before I thought Levy would stick with him but it's so clear the tide has turned and the majority are against him.
