You are so desperate to try and get one over on me you completely misunderstand my point. It’s pathetic.

I didn’t say I expect Ange to get a result, I said it would be disappointing simply because Woolwich are not firing on all cylinders and because we desperately need a result.

Are you saying it wouldn’t be disappointing if we lost on Wednesday? Very sad to see what Anges tenure has reduced some of you to.

Honestly you need to try much harder to try and catch me out clown boy.

Woolwich are absolutely beatable at the moment so you will be disappointed if we don't beat them and yet according to you we struggled to beat a non league team 🤡🤡

You should just probably at this point log out for a bit to clear your head, just spamming a pile of dog crap in here, honestly.

How anyone can watch that yesterday and still defend Ange is beyond me. It’s not like it’s a one off either - that’s the regular performance we have had for a calendar year now with the anomalies being against the likes of Liverpool, United and City

They are two separate football matches. Yes we did struggle to beat a NL team. Sorry is that up for debate or something? Did I miss the memo? Doesn’t mean I won’t be disappointed if we don’t get a result at the emirates. I’m not sure why you’re so confused.

Obviously I expect Ange won’t start with Werner at CF alongside Moore and Johnson so that should give us a bit more of a chance.. They are obviously not firing on all cylinders. Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable. I know you want to set the agenda for Wednesday as it’s minnows Spurs up against the powerhouse of Woolwich so if we lose Ange gets away Scott free. What do the Ange fans call it, a free hit? lol. No thanks.

You should take your own advice.

For the record, I see it as a game we should be looking to walk away with at least 1 point from.

Sure, they have been playing OK without managing to score (similar to us at start of the season in a number of games) but they are off the back of two losses, missing their best player, no recognised striker and had a much more intense game than we did yesterday.

Anyone would take a draw here any season and see it as a decent result, and this year is no different though, by all accounts, looking at the table and the last couple of seasons, they will be disappointed with anything less than a victory.

Did some of you claiming we had no chances until ET actually watch the match? The Tamworth keeper made a string of high quality saves and the one time he was beaten it was headed off the line.

Yes we sucked but lets not make it sound like we couldnt have scored 3-4 in normal time.

But the fact of the matter is we didn’t.

It took extra time and the “big guns” to be on for us to score and Tamworth players were tired. They’re not professional elite PL players for crying out loud.

Over the entire 120 minutes we had 7 shots on target. Their keeper had a fairly comfortable 90 minutes, other than some good saves he made against Madders.

So that's after we scored the 3 goals in ET.

Listen, being down on yesterday's performance doesn't automatically make you Ange out, plenty of Anges defenders on here have also said yesterday wasn't a good performance. Defending that mess yesterday just seems deranged sorry.

Yesterday was one of the few times I’ve seen the players play badly without any excuse (massive over-rotation, system putting the back-line under absurd pressure etc). Sadly, changing the whole front-line was an obvious error - I’m fairly sure AP knows that Werner is soft, but surely he must have realised that Johnson would rather not tackle, from that performance. The amount of times he half-heartedly chased a ball or shied away from a challenge was absurd. My wife came in and said Werner (she doesn’t know who he is) looks like he couldn’t be bothered running (but then I started getting wound up by Johnson so she wisely left again).

However, OTOH, we played well against Liverpool with only a few players different - I really don’t know what my opinion is of Ange any more - when it works it looks great but, more often than not, it sucks.

Will he have learned from Liverpool? Or did the players sit back a little of their own accord because they’re too tired from over-playing?

TL:DR - no idea whether I think he’s the right man for the job any more - one solid performance every eight games probably isn’t worth it, is it?

ps: I also no longer have any idea whether we’re punching above our weight when we beat City and Dippers or if we’re under-performing when we struggle against mid-table teams (or is that our level). At least I used to be able to tell!!

He’s not a lucky manager is he?

Injuries, cup draws etc.

Things rarely seem to go his way. Couple that with our luck and it’s a bit of an uphill battle.
i think hes extremely lucky considering how useless he is. lucky to play city at the start of their demise, lucky to play united when they are in a rut, lucky to get a late winner against coventry. hes now lucky to play the scum when it looks like they are at the start of a demise too! hes lucky daniel levy is one incompetent cunt too as any other chairman would of sacked him by now, they wouldnt of even hired him in the first place. in actual fact ive never seen luck like it.

lets not forget, the injuries are partly down to him, hes rushed the two CB's back and gambled with their careers there. everyone was shocked to see them in the lineup because everyone knew they couldn't possibly be ready, yet he actually started them.
