Anyone actually fancy the last paragraph becoming non-fiction at Tottenham?

I fucking don't.

Still makes me shudder that non-league Tamworth was a whisker away from beating us in the last seconds of normal time.

Not sure some have really let that one sink in properly.
i dont think a lot of people realise how fucking bad that was. thats a team of semi pros! in a competitive game against the first team!

you could argue its the worst result in the clubs history! if not its very close to the top. that should not be happening in a million years.

The non selection of Maddison - again - is fucking baffling. Whatever people perceive his weaknesses, he is our most productive and creative (in midfield and forward areas) player but also really important when trying to play through pressure - he drops in, can twist and turn and usually makes the best passing decisions. He was on the pitch 45 fucking minutes less than Kulusevski (who played 45 as an 8 as well) and completed 5 more passes than him. Not that he did anything spunktastic but at least he didn't constantly spunk away the ball like Kulusevski did/does.

That said, Kulusevski is more useful that Johnson who's literally got one play in the playbook and it isn't likely to work very well Arse.

The half time subs were just a stupid overreaction and tactically daft. We were only one goal behind, we didn't have to go full twat. Just tweak it. Maddison on for Sarr and keep Bergval as the other 8, would have meant Bergval could do his running thing at the defence, not trying to break out of our defence, and we would have the ability to move the ball through both sides, with two lateral 8's comfortable receiving the ball and able to look forwards and join attacks too.

The next sub should have been Moore - someone that can dribble and take players on and turn them round for Son or Kulusevski. Then Rich for Solanke.

Putting Kukusevski back into midfield and Johnson on the right improved nothing creatively, left Bergval all on his own in midfield and opened the game right up for Woolwich on the counter.

Other shit that is really starting to annoy me is players just not busting their balls to get back into defensive shape, track runners etc when they lose the fucking ball in forward areas. And this is on them but also on Ange who has to coach this as his system exposes defensive transitions as it is.

Can't blame Krystyna for any of this.
Agree....The Tea Lady was always going to stay....lol
Whatever about the result but what about the "playing out from the back" stuff? I know it's risky but the way we were doing it tonight was fucking suicidal. It was quite literally comical and farcical. I think they got most of their chances from it!
Yes...agree....Rio Ferdinand said it was under 14 s standard and he would know....

I agree. Even making some allowances for appalling reffing and the pitch, it was beyond appalling

It would have been the most humilating result for a Div 1 / Prem team in my lifetime. Was a sackable
Offence no question

watch the spirit that forest show compared to spurs. its night and day. ones a group of players that are happy and fired up under a manager, the others are just waiting for a fat cunt to be sacked.

we will see a nice bounce when he goes, which is why if its now (maybe im stupid) but id fancy us in the league cup and europa. we have some decent players.
The spirit of the manager is the point I'm making. Under conte it was based on wing play, Mourinho it was soaking up pressure and counter attacking, poch it was high pressing and winning the ball back. Forcing mistakes. Ange just seems to be nothing. He was brought in as this guy who was all about the front door attacking football, at ANY COST. But you don't see anyone dying on the field for him. Players really tired trying his 'system'. He has no system, I know you agree with me here so I won't go into more detail. He should be finished as Tottenham manager.
