I love how obsessed some of you are with Levy, you spend your time making up fan fiction about him.

Would love an actual psychologist to read through this thread and give me a run down of what is actually going on with you grown men and your obsession.
Because he’s the root cause of 25 years of low ambition exploitation

You are the idiot minority tbh

Enjoy the cheap and cheerful kids getting a hiding today, safe journey back

It’s fucking remarkable. And it’s not just about Levy either. It’s the absolute need for other posters to agree with them on everything. Why would it matter if a stranger thinks the same thing? Truly weird and obsessive behaviour.

I never mentioned I wanted the little rat to die

So you think it’s better for season ticket holders to fund the 2.5% vs naming rights?
I know a few ST holders and they don't give a shit about price rises. Almost certainly not the case with every ST holder, I know.

I don’t have one, so no dog in the fight. My “when I can get there” ticket is higher priced than it used to be. I’m ok with that.

But as a general concept? I’d rather we were sponsored I suppose.

This thread will never not be funny, people legit should like a load of hysterical ex wives...even if you dare to point out a blatant innacuracy or half truth.

STOP DEFENDING THE CHAIRMAN!!!

This place is mental, I literally come in here for light relief 😆

Can you please explain objectively what monetary value we get back from audiences hearing TH stadium rather than say Allianz stadium? I work in Finance and am quite binary so really struggle to see the return, sounds like marketing waffle and the sort of BS I hear all the time.
You work in finance? Like Rachel from accounts no doubt!

The naming rights thing has been discussed 100s of times and is now boring, use the search function.

Btw... You've actually posted about how little naming rights bring in.👍🏻

No need to call me an idiot mate.

But if i am, I'd rather be an idiot than a drama queen that obseses over another grown, very bald man.

Like if it's a pantomime, then accept your part of it and have fun with it or don't I guess... make jokes about them crashing in helicopters.

Constructive dismissal, an interesting take...

If you want to know what constructive dismissal looks like in real terms, just have a look at the way Daniel Levy and ENIC support Spurs managers over the years.

- Buying Nelson & Saha instead of Cahill & Suarez when Redknapp had a title challenge within his grasp.

- Not getting AVB any of his primary targets (eg Moutinho). But selling Bale from under him.

- Not making a single signing for 500+ days when we had Poch and our best team in decades.

- Then, when the club did decide to sign someone, they signed Gio Lo Celso, aka Mr Glass, instead of Bombproof Bruno Fernandes. And wasting all summer and an entire preseason negotiating on a bunch of signings, just to save a few pennies.

- Signing Rodon instead of Skriniar for Jose. A “win now” manager who wasn’t given any “win now” players before being fired one week before a cup final, just to save on the compensation payout.

- Hiring Conte, a famed “three CB” coach, and not buying him one single CB across 18 months and 3 windows at the club.

- Selling Kane and not buying a replacement for Big Ange until the following season, 12 months later.

- Entering 23/24 with just 2 CBs for Big Ange.

- Entering 24/25 with just 6 injury-prone defenders (and some make-dos) for 4 competitions for Big Ange.

- Seeing the most injury ravaged squad for decades and yet (as it stands) not make a single outfield signing for 19 days (and counting) as we see 2 more players drop down injured and let another one go out on loan.

And many other examples…

All managers are constantly asked to OVER-PERFORM and get more and more out of their squad, to just work to such fine margins that any misfortune with injuries or any slight errors in coaching/management and it becomes catastrophic. To finish above rivals that spend more, pay more, and don’t have to exhaust a paperthin squad every 3 days.

Yet it’s always the managers that are the scapegoats and not the owners running the club for the last 24yrs, our most barren run in our entire history 👍

I am utterly sick and tired of this endless cycle.

Word for word perfection.

At this point I refuse to believe they are actually trying to win anymore. It feels much more like they are running a scam. The hype then the disaster cycle is exactly like investing in a scammy shit coin.

Why have you posted this from 13 years ago?
The story is actually from just after ENIC bought Spurs.

Dein junior was seeing to Sugar's daughter before he hopped on board with Buchler's daughter. Buchler was Spurs first ENIC chairman.

Sugar handed the Spurs baton to Buchler while Dein's son handed his baton to.........

I find this stuff interesting.

Really don’t understand Spurs fans that still support ENIC.

The apathy they have created in this fanbase is depressing,

There are good posters, legit Spurs fans who still haven’t changed their vote to out on this thread. I really don’t get it.

Firstly mate, i don't think anyone supports them. Pushing back on factually incorrect statements about them is not supporting them.

Also, I find your 'the fanbase' comment is hyperbolic. I'm some of the fanbase.... yes, absolutely. Most of it? Unlikely. All of it.. not a chance. And if you're being honest, the apathy is not just from them. Why would the buck stop at their door? The apathy i think, from fans who are in their 30s and up largely comes from what the FA and, globally, FiFa have allowed football to become.

Just two and a bit years ago, when Conte finished 4th the whole fanbase was buzzing. Same at the start of Anges first season.

The infamous 10 games.

MOST of the fanbase was buzzing.

So I really think you're talking about 2 different things here.

Apathy at the general state of football in games and people being frustrated at us being a bit shit right now.

the laster will always change when we are doing much better, but it exasperated the former.
