A couple of us saw this coming as far back as last April. MemphisWill MemphisWill and myself and maybe Shotgunofmichalebrow Shotgunofmichalebrow . Maybe Doom Funk Doom Funk too.

It took a further 10 months for everyone to watch Ange crash the car hard enough to finally wake up and realize what some had been able to see long ago. Some still appear to be sleeping.

This is the only argument I'd accept

However I would prefer to go for the right choice in the Summer even if it means getting some firefighting specialist cunt in for a few months and then hiring the right choice in the Summer.

Do you have any better ideas? My post was written knowing it was likely Ange was going to lose at Everton when he shouldn't. Iraola and Xabi have been rumoured for weeks. Our Premier League form has been horrific for over a year.

People love an underdog.. And he's in many ways the ultimate underdog of premier league managers. Just two years before he got our job, his appointment at Celtic was mocked up in Scotland. Then two years later he gets one of the most famous jobs in the biggest league in the world. That in itself is an impressive achievement.

So they'll support the underdog and defend him. Even if it's to their own detriment.
