Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It not that bizarre ever since the stadium we have behaved like the football is meaningless. More interested in go Karts, Beyoncé and Sky Walks. Nothing wrong with having them but clearly the energy isn’t on the football or if it is we have grown to outstanding incompetence.
There was that brief glimmer of footballing direction under Paratici. But then Conte went rogue and Fabio got banned and we've been scrambling since.

Of course they will you stupid cultist fuck. There's this thing called money. Ever heard of it? It is used in exchange for goods and services. What you do is give some lots of this 'money' thing. As a club, we have lots of this 'money' stuff. If you're still unsure, then it's the same stuff we all hand over for the dubious privilege of attending games, and the same stuff that stays in Levy's pocket.

Here's an article that you may want to read that tells you more:

There is also this thing in professional sport called a career. Have you heard of it? I won't link it you can Google it.
You see. Serious professional people they have lofty ambitions and a plan where they see their career heading.
And while money is indeed attractive some bright career minded people will look at how toxic certain individuals in the Tottenham fanbase such as yourself are, how the club has a million injuries to key personnel and how the owners haven't lifted a finger to help. And have second thoughts.
They might look at Conte and Mourinhos previous comments about Tottenham.
Maybe they will watch Maddisons absolutely broken interview earlier and think. "You know what... Fuck that'

And anyone mercenary enough to put all of that aside just for the dollar probably isn't what we need.

As for me being an Ange cultist, I never wanted him. I certainly didn't buy into the hype first ten games. But he got the job and now he should be allowed to see it out until the end of the season.

People like yourself don't understand that sacking managers every eighteen months gets you nowhere.

If anything it sets you back.

I'm happy to educate your ignorance

Just listened to the press conference. The increasingly desperate argument that he will get his players back eventually and we kick on from there ridiculous on a day we lost two more players in Solanke and Johnson. The list is only growing.

Yeah I was buying into that narrative too but for every player we get back 2 more get injured! He clearly can't adopt to win now and is too stupid to rotate and manage minutes. He's bottled it

If Ange does last until Thurday's match he has the unenviable task of trying to find eleven fit players to start the match let alone fill the bench , out of todays squad Spence , Reguilon and Kinsky not in the Europa squad.

It was similar with Conte - but we now have 3/ 4 ball- playing MF-ers (Gray, Berg, Maddrers, maybe Bents) so no real space for excuses.
the system stinks. hes got defenders told to not even be defenders ffs. wingers who cant actually play football or keep the ball, the whole thing is a mess.

i agree tho we do have some really good footballers, it needs a manager who knows what hes doing and one who can get the balance right with it and it will be a good side then. with berg, madders, gray, kulu, you have players there with that bit of magic that you cant teach. its about getting the balance right with your biss and sarr's to make you solid in their with flair too.

the forward line still stinks. but with the footballers we have in midfield id try something like richy/solanke/kulu or madd and focus on getting numbers in the box and getting the ball in there, which shouldnt be a problem with the players we do have. solanke and richy in the box together would be horrible to defend against.

Such nonsense, having a shit season doesn't suddenly make you not an attractive club.

We paid Conte 15 times what Iraola is on now, they'll be forced to sell in the summer like their best striker to, oh yeah us.

we don't have to sell players to keep in with ffp etc.

I know you're annoyed but don't think we're not still a massive and hugely attractive club.

United were in a similar shit state and got Amorim in in October.
So much to dismantle there see my other post to Spaghetti brain..

But how's Amorim panning out? Turns out of you have shit players a shit owner it doesn't matter who the manager is

If anybody harbours some genuine doubts about how much of his general stubbornness can be attributed to unwillingness, instead of simple inability, then this match was a good evidence for the latter. Like some limited players we have, he’s just a limited manager who is trying to play to his supposed strengths. When he actually tries to do something different, he looks even worse than he'd have looked had he stuck with his usual approach. This was the most disorganized and chaotic 3 at the back I’ve ever seen, it’s clear he has never put much thought into it. Who asks his RCB to constantly push to midfield and leave an entire side of the pitch wide open? What was he thinking?

No, he’s not trying to establish strong foundations that he or his successor will build upon. He doesn’t have anything else up his sleeve. He just has a bunch of intuitively appealing but very surface level ideals about the game, nothing more. He might have been fine as an eccentric assistant under a proper manager, but that’d be his ceiling at this level.

I backed Ange, I liked his personality and football (when it works), I liked his commitment to get rid of the spursy tag

However he’s now made that tag worse

Forget injuries, forget busy schedules, forget bad form, there is no timeline or galaxy in which we should be getting dominated by Everton

The defence was an absolute shambles, and we are toothless in attack

Time to move on

id love iraola too but we might of left it too late now, this change needed to happen months ago.

When he was first announced, an article was run on him and how he manages his team and staff. The journalist described that he was always in control and that, in one particular meeting, someone made a suggestion and he said 'if I want your opinion, I'll ask for it'. I think we were supposed to see this as an example of an extremely impressive, decisive coach.

I just thought 'sounds like a bit of a cunt'.
I mean, this is the guy we're talking about. His character has been evident for 20 years:

And about every word ha said, I agree on.

The last part is a good question. Ange points wise and position wise is the worst we have had in 25 years. levy in the past used to be pretty trigger happy when it comes to firing managers. But this guy, he's digging his heals in to keep. Why. What makes him want to keep Ange in charge, when he decided to fire Pochettino, Mourinho and Conte when Ange is serving up consistently worse results than those 3. And to speak Levys language, he is much cheaper to fire than those 3. I don't get it.

At all.

Is Mason any better though? Hard to be worse I guess but he had the luxury of players like bale and Kane who he could just tell to go and play some football.
I think we'd lose less often. I think he'd rotate better. I think he'd play players in their best position.

Today for instance was crying out for Reguilon at LB, Spence at RB and Porro given a break.
But noooo, let's keep running Porro until he breaks and then lets play a promising looking Spence out of position.
I can't help but feel even Mason could figure that out.
Maybe Mason will give Son a few weeks off too
