Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The fact that he still has a job is so strange. Maybe Levy really has stepped back from the football decisions and has delegated it to Munn and Lange. It would certainly explain why he hasn’t acted yet. Maybe he’s unwilling to intervene and undermine them but surely we are at the point where it has to be done. If Munn and Lange think Ange is good enough then they need to be sacked too.

He's definitely the worst manager we've had since I've supported ( and that includes Christian Gross). Carraghers analogy about it looking like he's in charge of some u18s game and telling the players "ah don't worry about the result just keep playing like that" after every loss was absolutely spot on.

The media have zero respect for him. The line of questioning about it being another defeat and same story was quite incredible. They can't even be bothered to sound neutral such is the lack of respect they have for him.

Why is he claiming in Interviews that he had to start as he did as he only had 11 fit players.

The bench whether you like it or not had at least 3 options that were credible and a few that, while a stretch were possible.

It’s excuse after excuse from him, but he is not helping himself.

He could easily have started 4 at the back. Gray in Midfield. Why would he need to go to a back 3 because he claims to only have 11 fit players. The man is simply stupid.

And on top of it all, despite everything those lads on the bench need to feel valued and not made to sit there and think. “I’m the last resort”

As another example, Why have Regulion sit there for another 90 minutes and not rest Porro at least ? It’s absolutely astonishing squad management. Astonishing. Games done at 3-0. Take Porro off. Get Regulion on. Porro has to play Thursday. Spence and Regulion don’t. Have a fucking brain 🧠.

Levy must want us to go down…

He looks like he’s stumbled out of a funeral in a borrowed suit. It’s just awful

Pls save our club from this obese Antipodean menace

I do think that sometimes you can't win when operating as a fan within our fanbase.

I've seen copious amounts of the more outspoken Anti-ENIC crowd making statements as if there's some large contingent of Levy acolytes. I beg to differ, and as far as I can tell the vast vast majority of our fans would roll the dice on new ownership if given the choice. The only difference seems to be that a chunk of them are frankly deluding themselves into thinking they could drive ENIC out whereas others are just waiting for it to (hopefully) eventually happen; we're at the mercy of forces beyond our control, I fear.

Then here (in a tweet that is otherwise informative) you have the 'Ange's cult' label. Frankly, if there was ever a contingent of complete 'trust the process' fans, I think it's dried up in recent weeks. The irony is that the main logic in not necessarily wanting him sacked comes from an inherent anti Levy/ENIC position because it's identifying the root cause of our problems to be higher than Ange and not solvable with a quick sack and rehire.

I don't know. Sometimes I feel like some fans just want any excuse to scrap with other fans, despite the fact we should be on the same team.

anyone who thinks relegation will expedite ENiCs exit fails to understand the blindingly obvious - when they eventually exit they wish to make as much money as possible

My question is: how many managers have we had since Poch? It can't be all on Ange.
I'm humble enough to think managers know way more than we do. I think we've been unbelievably unlucky with injuries in the last year or so; but don't forget the times we got really lucky too: Kane not leaving until he was 30, Son deciding to stay at the club before his golden period: that wasn't a common thing here. Bale left, Modric left, etc. It's not common for us to keep our very best, that was luck too.
Poch -and that group of players- left the bar way too high, anyway sitting at the bottom of the table isn't acceptable by any accounts but I want emphasize that what happened between 2015 and 2019 was a rare occurence.
I'll ask you guys a question: do you think Ange -I'm not saying he did nothing wrong- wouldn't thrive with the squad Poch had? Son in his prime, Kane, Walker (before we sold him to City), prime Eriksen, a wonderful Dele and a more than just good midfield and defense.

I'm fuming. I should have nothing to do with this but I'm an Argentine who was introduced to this beautiful club by his brother in law from London who lives in Argentina. We don't decide the things we fall in love with: it just happens.

He's been a fan since his childhood and he also thinks what happened between 2015-2019 was a fluke: too many world class players for a club that would normally sell them to clubs like RM. Of course we f**** don't belong in the bottom 6. I don't know what the f**k is going on. As far as I know we have one of the best training facilities in the world. How on earth can we not bring better players? Hell if you put prime Guardiola in this mess he'd be clueless, it can't be the manager. I didn't like Ange as I thought he'd be way too naïve for the PL -as results have shown- but I did not even entertain the idea that we'd be where we are now, not even nearby.

If things follow its course we'll have to hire a manager with experience dealing with relegation ffs. I f**ng love this club I don't even know why I have to put myself through this every single f***ng time. F**ng Everton beat us.

I just wanted to take this off my chess. Greetings from Argentina and COYS.
En las buenas y en las malas (meaning you show support in both, good and bad times). COYS.

I wonder if there’s an ‘in such-and-such position and no cups’ kind of clause which means they pay nothing? Surely there can be no other realistic reason not to get in a competent interim?
Levy doesn't typically go that route, right?

I suspect we're awaiting an answer by Iraola. Then, if he won't come, it'll either be Mason to the end of the season or Southgate is coming in permanent.
