Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We've slashed the wage bill because football isn't important to Tottenham Hotspur Business Club.
60k a week is all that matters now. CL? Nah. Have to risk spending money to get that.
There more, guaranteed, money for hosting non football events now. It's the most steady and sustainable revenue stream available.

We have been lied to. The stadium was never to make the team better on the pitch. It was to make the fat cats in the board room richer for longer.

Just waiting now for an announcement for additional events per year. That'll be their big January announcement.
Not Muani.
Not a new manager.
5 more non football events.

New signing Klaxon!!

To be fair. Ange should do the decent thing and walk. He’s a massive problem.
Can't see him walking. Ange has massive belief in himself, and with some justification.

It's not working at Spurs, he can tell himself that it's all down to injuries, but I think most of us can see that the jump in quality between the EPL and other leagues he's managed in, is just too big.

He will also know that unless he turns it around at Spurs, then he's not likely to get another shot at the big time.

So I think Ange won't jump but will have to be pushed.

The concern I have was that we were looking at the Everton and Leicester fixtures as a good opportunity to gain points.

Having witnessed the car crash yesterday I don’t have any confidence that we won’t potentially fuck up any fixture, even those we think should be a given!

I’m guessing not a Fan Forum!!

At least we don’t have to look at Levy’s weird, anxious facial expressions and put-on “real fan” accent

Maybe an Australia themed PRIDE festival ?

McKenna

Allegri

Terzic, Iraola or Frank

I don’t get where the confidence is coming from about the next 3 games - Vardy will be licking his lips.

I’m expecting a loss in Germany, draw with Leicester and a limp win against Elfsborg

Oh i didn’t think for a minute we’d win yesterday. We won’t beat Leicester at home either. Or Ipswich away

We are in trouble here

Pushed off the Darewalk? With safety harness breaking force?

Ffs, just got an email from the club....

"Experience a legends tour with Michael Dawson"

Don't fucking email me again until it announces the change!!

This is exactly why that clown sat there on Sky Sports yesterday and said Ange is the right man for the job. Too scared to upset the apple cart and miss out on the gravy train by criticising Levy or Ange. Pathetic

It's got nothing to do with belief. Managers contracts are fucking dumb. They will not resign no matter how bad they are or the perilous position their presence puts the team in.
It absolutely disgusts me that someone can be so bad and not be sacked on the spot without so much as a few weeks wages.

And BTW, I blame your lot for this mess. If they hadn't taken him out of his actual level, we'd never have heard of him and never have gone for him. This mass delusion that he's an actual elite football manager wouldn't be a thing.
Being Ange-in for THFC is no different to being convinced Raygun deserved to be at the Olympics, let alone win them.

There is not a single doubt in my mind that the board have already had at least one crisis meeting and almost certainly would have had another one last night or early this morning. It's just a matter of when over the next 2 weeks he'll be gone. Probs a ton of paperwork that needs to be addressed to get someone in for a stop gap. I imagine they'll sack him just before or just after the Leicester game.

I hope you are right.

Trix on SC (I know I know) but fwiw, said the board are split at the moment between keep or sack. Ultimate decision with Levy obviously.

Also said the feelers are already out for a new manager.

A big no to McKenna and Allegri. Terzic came within a whisker of beating Bayern to the title and got to a champions league final which can’t be sniffed at so he’s definitely of interest. Frank,I’m not sure about. Tottenham is too big in my opinion for him.

Iraola is the one that i have the biggest interest in. His Bournemouth are a great watch but are also hard to beat. 22 games in and only lost 5 games. That’s incredible for a club like Bournemouth.

Could we entice Xavi or Alonso? In my opinion no chance.

I do believe Ange will still be in charge to the summer but even though I don’t like to see people lose their jobs but his time is up surely.

Strange post. With us he won 5 out of the six domestic trophies available, and got very close to the one that got away.

If he has been taken out of his actual level - and it appears that he has- then it was done by Spurs not Celtic
