I think that because people see no benefit to changing the manager , finishing 6 or 17th makes no difference to most now.
Maybe a new manager for next season could be a target but Mason as caretaker would be ridiculous.
I don't think even his staunchest supporters have any problem with being told Ange is the problem.

The objection is being told the tactically savvy, motivationally inspiring new manager is the solution.

Nothing can fix the fact that this isn't a sporting operation.

Winning the EL would be, financially, a massive boon for us. And it would be the greatest accomplishment the club has had in the past 40 years.

The idea that this season is lost is absurd, it's not. But we can't win the EL with a manager actively harming our squad. We can't win the EL with a manager unqualified for his position.

If you believe decisions are being made on the basis of maximizing our opportunity to win the EL, I have a Brian Brobbey to sell you

I hate this guy so much. I just want rid. He sucks all the enjoyment out of supporting this team.

Its so frustrating.
Absolutely.

And this is why many find the endless defence of the man put up by a few people so bewildering.

Even they would have to admit Levy feels absolutely nothing for us as supporters ....just customers bringing in the potential coin...

So why the hell do they care so much about him!

If they genuinely want our club to succeed. To finally step out of that hideous shadow of our two biggest rivals after 25 horrible, subservient years, why on earth keep sticking up for him.

Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion. But surely they must understand why some of us find their opinion so damn frustrating.

It's like they want us to keep failing. And Nobody on a Tottenham Hotspur Football forum should keep excusing failure.

Considering we lost our CF for 6 plus weeks and only have the often injured rarely in form Richarlison, a loan deal looks precisely like trying to maximise our chances of winning the EL.
I mean, I'm not going to haggle between winning the EL and staving off relegation as a motivator, either way we need reinforcements and we can judge the results of the window when we have them (though the delay itself has been costly).

But the club has been mugging off the cups for decades now.

3.5M up for grabs per PL place - more than offsets a Europa / FA cup win. Greed before glory

Do you really think we're an attractive place for players to come right now? With an amateur manager who might be sacked any day injuring players right and left sitting 15th in the league.

Recruiting players isn't like going to the grocer. No one has to come here.

We should have sacked Ange after Ipswich. Now we're just fucked.

So, yeah, if we can get someone with 52 goal involvements in the past 28 months then that's progress

Look man, leave your current season strategy stuff to one side.

If the club had a sporting determination to beat the other top clubs in Europe in this or any year, it wouldn't have the single lowest wages to turnover ratio in Europe every single year.

In every game of every competition in every season, each Dead Man Walking manager at Spurs is facing an opponent with a greater share of the club's resources on the pitch than he has.

Depends what kind of players you mean though, if you mean the top top players who command a premium then no, if you mean top players in other leagues which we can blow out the water with wages then yes, quite easily.

We recruited Romero when we had Nuno in charge and Kane was on the verge of leaving, players don't really care about the project, they follow the money and if you look up and down this league there's a plethora of good players playing at various teams - Look at how Forest and Wolves have recruited for example, West Ham signed Kudus and Paqueta etc...

We won't have any issues with attracting good players because we're a London club which pay relatively good wages compared to the rest of the league and really good wages compared to the rest of Europe

We can't win the europa league with a ravaged subpar squad..
