Spot on, but while we’re still in the top ten richest clubs in Europe we can moan all we like, but Levy goes nowhere. The chairman and the board expect the C-suite to run the club well; Levy unarguably does that from a financial pov. Only when the stadium is half full, with midweek matches in the champo, will he be in any peril.

Why do all the managers need to go on the pitch to make such a public show of patting everyone on the back. Just get down the fucking tunnel and get in the dressing room. It’s one of the things in modern football that unnecessarily gets my goat.
