One thing about Gold’s tweet, how come no other journos are coming out with the same thing?

Usually they piggyback on a report like this yet nothing. Maybe they don’t know either way yet?

Agreed. It's odd. None of the usual suspects have come out with similar, which always happens when the usual suspects have been briefed. But there's not been anything.

Also it looks like gold tweeted at 6am so he must have received his info early morning or late last night. I wonder if he's gone early and his info is now out of date.

Surely he is gone today. I find it unreal that he survives yesterdays debacle so soon after Everton.

I mean, does Levy genuinely think we are going to win at Brentford on Sunday?

Or that we will beat Liverpool at Anfield.

WTf is he waiting for? The incompetent evil fucking prick.

Missed the game as at work.

On the way home had 606 on, a Leicester fan called in, said they didn’t win the game, Spurs lost it. He said he couldn’t believe the huge spaces we left for them to exploit when 1-0 up.

We are literally an adrenaline shot to each and every opponent.

Last weekend we galvanised Everton in 45minutes, making the most amateur change in tactics I can recall from a supposed high end Manager.

Unless they inject £50m at least into this squad this week, we are very likely to be fighting relegation at seasons end, with a squad exhausted of all fight.

Levy is the biggest problem at our club but Ange needs to go, 0/6 against Everton and Leicester is not sustainable.

I would just bring in a caretaker at this point as it's so bad.

It's got to the stage where a senior player with balls needs to step up and call this shit out.

At the risk of getting Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman all revved up, at least last time when we were this shit we had this guy

We've never been this bad.
Not even sure the 77 team was, and that was managed by a gooner who sent the players to see a clairvoyant.

The caretaker at my daughters school would steady the ship. I've seen him try two or three different ways to fix things, so he's massively over qualified compared to AngeLOSS

Apparently King, Woodgate and Jenas did that with Ramos, they went to see Levy and said this cant go on. I suspect Maddison is the only one with the balls to do it now. Sonny is too nice and Romero couldnt give a shit as he'll be off in 4 months.

The most puzzling thing for me is the board must have given up on him (no support in the transfer market) and yet he’s still here, I find it all very odd.

Yeah, it’s quite clear the board don’t want him but I have no idea what the reasoning is to keep him on.

We’ve paid off managers getting more without even a second thought, so it can’t be that.

Are they balancing the books for a sale and can’t factor his compensation in?

Levy has made some stupid fucking decisions, but this one takes the biscuit.

Even if we had a buyer relegation would mean the selling price would be hit hard. It is very odd.

If a sale was reasonably well along it would make sense.

I was a senior manager in a firm that was sold to the yanks and during the due diligence any significant business decision had to be run by the buying company’s management.

Maybe the board are as sick to death of the "yoooo gotta giv da managah tymeeeee" cliche that has riddled football for decades.
Maybe they want to put an end to it by proving beyond all doubt, shit coaches don't get good because of time.
By getting us relegated.

My theory is that levy wants to lower the expectations of the supporters because its cheaper / more Profit.
Sitting in midtable maybe a cuprun.
low wages expensive tickets pl tv money etc

After this season we will be grateful for a cuprun or to qualify for EL
It doesnt make financial sense for him to upgrade the squad pay higher wages and gamble on CL qualification or trophies

So its either just incompetence or / and he uses this ange saga to lower our expectations.
I said from day one that was his only reason to appoint Postecoglou. To lower the expectations of the fanbase.
We have the worst and the most cynical owners in the Premier League.
Absolute scum.
