If you look at the date joined, it’s 2021. But so few posts in that time.

Waiting.

Watching.

There is some astonishing planning afoot; positively Machiavellian.

I fear we could be facing the most devious Levy manifestation yet!

I think you've got this wrong, if you bid at the start of the month you're encouraging other clubs to get in and up the price of the player because they are in control where as at the end the buying club can dictate the transfer more.

It's said that Chelsea tried to hijack our Tel bid, what do you think would have happened if we went for him in the first week of Jan, they would have most probably outbid us and/or paid him more than us.

Why do you think the vast majority of deals are done in the last week of the Window, not just by us, by everyone?
Well it’s a point to debate isn’t it. As I said we don’t know the full story behind each transfer deal but in my opinion either scenario could play out. It is to simplistic to say I have it wrong. There is no evidence to suggest your theory is correct either.

I think the deals done at the end of the window are down to one upmanship in the main. How many times have we all said why aren’t we moving quicker. Especially when other clubs are doing business.

The comments around chavs don’t hold water either. But in all of this, is there any irrefutable evidence that they were in for him at the end? A lot of the rumours are X/Twitter wannabe ITK that know no more than anyone else.

It seems with Tel, the clearest explanation, perhaps most plausible is that he wanted game time guaranteed which wasn’t offered, at least by man utd and Woolwich and that the buying clubs wanted options at the end of the loan. I’d say that was the main reasons for delay but perhaps ( and only if that was the case) we could have offered that earlier rather than a straight loan

Well that's fair but you said that misterbeck misterbeck 's theory was 'horse shit' when you just admitted that you have 0 evidence to suggest your theory is correct either so...

But again you said that other clubs are doing business but when though? The vast majority of business in Jan gets done in the final week which speaks more about the market and how clubs see this particular TW which is opportunistic as opposed it being an exclusive Tottenham thing.

It actually came from Loïc Tanzi who's a French Journo from L'equipe who are pretty realiable...it's up to you how much stock you put in journo's but it wouldn't surprise me - regardless of that my point still stands, if you go for a player to early you sound out interest from other clubs, it happens all the time. It literally happened to us with the Dragusin transfer last Jan and Bayern pounced on him, luckily we got that one over the line as we had already convinced him.

What actually happened is that Tel wanted to go to Man Utd so rejected us, Utd baulked at the £5m loan fee and we convinced him to change his mind, that's all there is too it.

It's just you from the mirror universe.

Ah I remember when every one was convinced I was Schmoods which was pretty funny.

Seeing as he was a massive Lecy cuck I must bow to thee, I am not worthy to be even compared to such a fine man, I wonder where the King is now, hopefully he is doing well.
