Ange is closing in
And effectively blaming teenagers. Er. The players he chose to sign en masse. As he was “tryin ta build something…kinda”. Mate.I just see this bloke a replica of francis. Blaming injuries and out of depth.
Fair enough. Given what they each took on and subsequent backing i think Postecoglou is worse. Gross got 36 pts in his 26 league games 1.38 ppg. Ange over his last 26 league games has 30 pts 1.15 ppg.
It really is. He's done it a ton this season. Presented it as the player's failing or falling short. And how it is up to HIM. Big strong Ange. To fix things. He’s hideous.
He’s adopted this corporate abstract language that pretends to take responsibility whilst also not taking any responsibility.
I think part of the reason I dislike him so much is he reminds me of the absolute wankers that infest senior management at my work.
I was joking. After shafting Pleat has he’s done, I’d hate him even more if he dared to ask Pleat for a favour.
That little gimp needs to be fucked off. He’s a big part of the problem.
Maybe he’ll go for a supporter and get a nasty surprise ? Wouldn’t surprise me tbhIt really is. He's done it a ton this season. Presented it as the player's failing or falling short. And how it is up to HIM. Big strong Ange. To fix things.
It's all about him and his brand.
A syphalitic donkey with gingervitis and a limp would improve the situation rather than dingo wucker the Australian bluffer
Nope. Because the problem is not just now.Says it how it is. Most of the posters's on here should be ashamed.
Delusional, absolutely delusional.
Also, most people aren’t criticising the players, MOST people are criticising the manager.
He knows that as well but by using the players as a shield and saying “Don’t be critical of them” he’s trying to shut down criticism of the performances, which HE is at fault for because of HIS system.
Like someone else said, he’s a professional gaslighter.
Nope. Because the problem is not just now.
The problem comes from the hideous form
In the second half of last season.
To which the reaction was to buy one ONE senior professional.
To then start the season badly with 1 win in four and a squad of outfield players that was under 20. To which the window closed and no additional “help” came in. He never had any intention of playing Regulion. But there he was in the squad. We were told that the likes of Lankshere and come January, the South Korean lad would be in the squad.
And then we see the FULLY FIT ( near as dam it ) squad shit the bed @ Palace. Humiliate itself against an average Brighton and then hand Ipswich their first top flight away match since when ?
It was only AFTER these rancid defeats that these injuries bit.
A generational crisis with a game every 3 days in January saw them go 30 + day without an additional outfield player.
Nothing about this situation is forgivable and his bleating about injuries is an excuse for right now, it’s not an excuse for the mess since December 2023.
He can go get fucked. And so can Levy.
I get all of those frustrations my friend, I do. They're good points and absolutely valid. Which is why you should level them completely at Levy and the board as Ange is not to blame for 90% of those things.
I'm sure he has his part to play as many would, but we've seen those issues before.
Haven't we?
Says it how it is. Most of the posters's on here should be ashamed.
What are you smokingIt's going to be really difficult for Spurs to convince themselves to fire Postecoglou, so they probably won't. To their credit, this time they came together around a manager and a philosophy and embraced a vision for how to go forward. If you had talked to Levy or Munn or Lange at the start of the season and said this is where Spurs will be in February they wouldn't have believed it possible. One of the biggest problems is how, as an organization, to accept that you got the wrong manager. I imagine they still believe in Postecoglou on some level, if only because he's a brilliant salesman. And there's the fear of missing out. If they fire him they will never know if he might not have been a year away from getting all right. Plus, firing Postecoglou would be like cancelling a Taylor Swift concert. The Swifties would come for you, and if you let "Big Ange" go you will face the wrath of the Ange following. I think unless there's clear understanding that the players have quit on him they will bring Postecoglou back for next season. I don't like it, it isn't what I would do, but I think that's the reality.
