Was thinking about my previous post , can anyone think of any instances from a football perspective where Levy has shown an aptitude to learn from his mistakes . I’m not talking about law of averages eventually getting something right

He has had 35 years in the business and 25 years with us so the list should be very extensive . I’ll start us off

I've come to the conclusion that if we were to get 6 or 7 players back from injury, plenty of rest between games, Ange would still wheel out all the excuses after a further run of losses and continued stage fright
Assuming he isn't sacked and we somehow get off the injury merry go round, what could be the excuses. My prediction:
- We haven't had the opportunity to embed the system within our returning player group. The off season will help us.
- Confidence within the group has taken a hit this season, there is a lot of external negativity that the players are having to deal with. I've always said if you have a problem then direct it at me.
- We need to manage the team and make sure we don't take any chances with the squad, Solanke was always coming off at 80 minutes. Being 1 goal down at Ipswich tonight was irrelevant.

Porro is mate. Look at his positioning first goal. Way too forward. Kinsky made a bad error but porro positioning is atrocious. Way too forward. Wingers are way too isolated as well and about 2 yards too apart from centre forward. It's too open. Position of players is borderline amateurish. Asking for trouble as playing a right back at left back. Straight away unbalanced team.
His positioning is where the fabled "double inverted fullback" is supposed to be though.

Our problems are so repeated, so often, there's no way it's just brainfarts from individuals.

My thoughts are that one month from now, when we're 17th in the league, out of the Europa, with an almost fully fit squad, the interviews will go something like...

Q. Ange mate, you're shit, probably the worst Spurs manager of the Premier League era, why are you so shit, and do you plan to do anything to try and not be so shit?

Ange. Don't you dare criticise these players mate, they're heroes mate, you want to come after me with your agendas then fine but don't you dare criticise these players...

:ange-confused:

You get freak injuries in a season, like Dom doing his knee or Radu getting an ACL from an awkward landing. But the sheer number of muscular injuries and hamstrings are clearly from the way we train and play, coupled with a lack of recovery.

He’s running them all to the ground literally.

The squad isn’t big enough, Gray, Bergvall, Moore, these guys should be in addition to the 25 main players NOT the main 25. That’s on ENIC.

But the pressure put on our defenders is why they are all fucking dropping. And that’s on Ange.

To anyone saying "no point getting rid now"

Let me give you the perfect analogy.
You have an agonising toothache. Insane in the brain pain.
You go to the dentist and he/she/they say:
"that tooth is finished, nothing can save it. It's going to take us 3 months to make and fit a false tooth once that ones out......we can pull it now to relieve the pain but you'll have a gap"

GIVE ME THE FUCKING GAP.

Ange is the Trump of football managers. Believes he is great but is really shit.

The fact he is still talking about an injury crisis is a joke. Apart from a very young Mikey Moore none of our other youngsters have really had a kick this season. On top of that they only recalled one youngster who they have to keep at the club because he played him in a game.
This isn’t a politics thread . We are at each others throats enough I reckon

Typically speaking, they'll have to call him and his agent in and discuss compensation.
The only option other than that is gardening leave, whereby he's still fully employed by the club but told to stay away.
Gardening leave would surely mean paying out his contract in full? Guess if we sack him it’s the same case. Ange can just refuse to go I guess which essentially adds up to the same conclusion.

Well if Ange highlighted the corruption at Spurs the way Trump is doing now from the last president it would be great.
Most of our youngsters playing as you said are high profile signings

And insult them

He is effectively saying “I’ve lost because my available players aren’t good enough “
No, the available players are rooted, completely buggered, fatigued. It’s pretty simple really.
That’s what he’s on about in pressers. Everyone twist the situation to suit their own narrative and agenda. But the facts are we have a large amount of injuries, and the “available” squad are running on fumes.

So it looks like he is going to get the Utd game at least then.
The complete inertia makes me want to get rid of every board member, Munn and Lange as much as i'd like to get rid of Levy. Its like not one of them has a clue what they are watching or the stones to say this is unnaceptable? Should be a resignation issue with anyone who has an ounce of pride left. Clearly none of them do, bunch of nodding dogs.

There we go, it's the agenda. Great work Ange, fooled them again.
