Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I mean, how can anyone argue with this? I have yet to see a counterpoint beyond “But this take is biased” while offering no actual evidence to support that claim.

In other words, water is wet.

The metrics provide conclusive proof that any injury crisis we have is, in fact, down to Ange and his, frankly, braindead approach to managing a football team.

Imagine how many careers he could ruin if this continues?

This isn’t even getting into the argument about if it’s even valid to blame injuries on our form, especially when considering we had a fully fit team at the end of last season and we still had poor results (and numerous this season).

How the fuck has he not been sacked, has Levy completely lost the plot.

(I'm not a covid denier and don't think any of this was true then)

But for the cult of Postecoglu - WOW.

Repetitive rituals
- Blame self inflicted injuries
Leader
- Obvious flaws. Check. Can do no wrong in some fans eyes. Double Check. Mate.
Special Costume
- Badly fitted suit and a disheveled look
Abnormal rules
- Absurd instructions like telling all your players to chase the ball around all match to, quite litterally "Break down the oppositions phsyche" And everything becomes more absurd the longer it goes on.

Levy going back to Poch would relieve all the pressure on him for another 18 months or more. Wide sections of the supporters would be very pleased.

But I don’t believe Levy would ever do it because it because it entails admitting he made an error sacking Poch and that all the club’s tribulation of the last several years would be laid at his feet.

And beyond this, it would entail Levy saying he made another mistake by not bringing Poch back before when he was available and we were without a manager. Uncle Fester will never accept the blame for all this. He blames managers.

Levy still doesn’t intend to back any new manager with a budget that matches our aspirations, he is still searching for that elusive miracle worker who can turn his water into wine, and he doesn’t believe Poch is that.

At some point Levy gave up caring about results. With hindsight, the recent sackings have been unrelated to results:

- Jose- fell out over superleague, was making Levy look bad. Plus the conspiracy over cup winner bonus.
- Nuno- crowd turned on Levy and Conte became available.
- Conte- criticised Levy in public.

Ange toes the company line and is safe as houses despite being the Australian Gary Megson.

Poch already has a job. He’s not available.

The year is 2055, Ange Postecoglou, Tottenhams longest standing manager who turns 90 this year has defended his team following their defeat against the current leaders of Division 3, Kidderminster Harriers.

When asked if it was necessary to play such a high line that saw the entire outfield team in the oppositions penalty box for the entire game, he responded:

“It’s who we”

Unfortunately he didn’t get to finish the response as he fell asleep mid interview
