If Iraola cannot be gotten I'd be very happy with Alguacil. He's currently the head coach at Real Sociedad but his contract runs out in the summer. He ticks a lot of the boxes for what we want.Iraola seems to have nurtured Kerkez, the two centre backs (18 and 22) and other young players really well. It’s a huge part of why he’s No. 1 for me.
If they started doing a poor job, how would we know? They are so good at what they are doing.
I can just wish that one day I will be just as excellent as the board members.
Yup, a graveyard for managers!Spurs are a football manager epithet killer

Gotta laugh really
Nice avi dude.
For once i'd be ok with that. It literally cannot be any worse. Just telling our full backs to play as full backs and get 2 midfielders to sit in midfield will improve results. Just simple back to basics. But they wont go back to Mason, too embarrasing for them which is why we're lumbered with the charlatan. Not really the club has run out of road. There is no Conte to come along, it would be Ryan Mason till end of season.
I agree - Poch is like Obi Wan, became more powerful when he was struck down. If he was given a second go he would be in a very strong position to put pressure on for transfers etc and Levy wouldn't want that.Levy going back to Poch would relieve all the pressure on him for another 18 months or more. Wide sections of the supporters would be very pleased.
But I don’t believe Levy would ever do it because it because it entails admitting he made an error sacking Poch and that all the club’s tribulation of the last several years would be laid at his feet.
And beyond this, it would entail Levy saying he made another mistake by not bringing Poch back before when he was available and we were without a manager. Uncle Fester will never accept the blame for all this. He blames managers.
Levy still doesn’t intend to back any new manager with a budget that matches our aspirations, he is still searching for that elusive miracle worker who can turn his water into wine, and he doesn’t believe Poch is that.
4-4-2 under Steve Bruce would be better until the end of the season. For once i'd be ok with that. It literally cannot be any worse. Just telling our full backs to play as full backs and get 2 midfielders to sit in midfield will improve results. Just simple back to basics. But they wont go back to Mason, too embarrasing for them.
The point Meia Amador makes on X is so ficking obvious it's shocking how hard it was for people on THIS forum to accept. I argued till blue, it was conditioning, it was work load, it was HOW we pressed, all of which were on Ange. All you got was some utter shit for brains posting an info graphic at you pointing out Liverpool did this or saying in a voice I hear like cletus in the Simpson's ' Are footballers nat supposed ta run now' I despise these people.
What? Have you broke water? Are Trump dead? Are God real?I got some breaking news!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! its happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Money related I think, maybe contract specific.Something is a miss and I'm not buying the "injuries" narrative.
Any other Premier League club in our position would have already sacked him by now but we stick by him......
Out of all the managers we decide to stick by its the worst of the lot!
“These aren’t the midfielders you’re looking for”I agree - Poch is like Obi Wan, became more powerful when he was struck down. If he was given a second go he would be in a very strong position to put pressure on for transfers etc and Levy wouldn't want that.
If we were in actual danger of relegation we absolutely should do this and become hard to beat/grind out draws.4-4-2 under Steve Bruce would be better until the end of the season.
That is how shambolically bad we are.
Who need laxatives, we got Spurs!
Poch from nowhere to 7-1 now.“These aren’t the midfielders you’re looking for”
If we were in actual danger of relegation we absolutely should do this and become hard to beat/grind out draws.
As it stands we seem to be stuck with Ange until summer. If he hasn’t been sacked now he must be immune until we’re out of Europa and by then it’s so close to summer that it doesn’t matter.
Hard to see the point of our league schedule the rest of the way in.
i actually think we were on a decent path and were enacting a plan. of course it was an underwhelming and unambitious plan for a club of our size but we signed some decent young players and a handful of older established players that could play the kind of football we say we want to play. then we screwed the pooch taking a punt on a backwoods manager rather than someone with some pedigree.Yup, a graveyard for managers!
And if we are serious for a second. I wonder if the club has dug itself a hole so deep, we can't get out of it?
What great manager would want to come here now? Same with players.
I'm not feeling positive at all about the club going forward. The only thing we have left to attract managers/players with, are living in London, and money. And we all know our owner doesn't like to spray money around.
But that's the only route we have left it seems.
The only scenario i can see, is back to the 90's and midtable obscurity, unless we start spending big on wages.

Well you could be a fan of Erik Hamrénimagine being one of these fools looool. these weirdos have the be the biggest sad acts on the planet. i dont think you can go any lower.
I'd promote the U23 coach on a interim basis just to get it done with. Not really the club has run out of road. There is no Conte to come along, it would be Ryan Mason till end of season.
