Player Mikey Moore

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Feel a bit sorry for Moore, clearly more natural on the left. 2nd time in 3 games he's been taken off at HT for Ange to reshuffle. Should have had an assist for that Son chance, Werner missed a similar chance from a Moore ball earlier in the season I think against Ferencvaros.

Didn't understand the sub vs Villa. Maybe because of what he wasn't doing without the ball more than what he did with the ball.

Was by far our most positive player with the ball in the first half. SHould have another assist if Son hadn't missed a sitter or Tel was playing CF from the start.

Right now he is way off it physically for Premier League football.

Bags of quality as we've seen from his passing and mazy runs.

He's the anti-Sarr.

As said above, it's made twice as hard for him being shunted out to the right. It's like Southgate and Foden all over again.

Physicality can be gained by the gym or in Mikey’s case just finishing puberty, natural instincts and quality on the other hand are hard to gain. He is going to be a star, his decision making is miles better than most of our players already.

I see Lamal and Rooney as examples used but they are players who are men at just 16. I mean Rooney is 40 and is basically a 55 year old man, some people just grow fast. I vaguely remember seeing Messi around 17/18 and he looked good but weak and not that quick, just 1-2 years later he was strong and very quick.

I think Mikey is 1-2 years off being a big star.

Can't wait to see him at age 20

I've seen the future.

Agree. He's at least as effective as our other wide options at present.

I think he can be our successor to Son, but we do need to sign a couple other top wing talents to help keep things competitive and Mikey growing. I don't think it's a bad thing rotating more and the players having time to play 1 game and train heavily each week- especially while they are younger and still developing.

Says it all that Mikey had one chance to make an impression . Perfect first time pass from wide on the right to Sonny. Doubt anyone else in the team could have made that pass, certainly not first time . One look and there it was. Garnacho was good when he first got into Utd team but it was all individual stuff. Spectacular goals , shooting but not exactly a player who makes good decisions. Mikey can score goals but he is a brilliant passer and makes the right decisions. The only way is up for Mikey.

Shame he got sunbed at HT on Sunday, didn't deserve that...

...but like when Bergwall had to go off after Dragusin got his marching orders in the Europa League match earlier this season... our younger players seem to pay the price for other players' ineptitude! (Though Dragusin is still relatively young too, I guess!)

Moore, Bergwall and Gray ARE looking like the real deal...
We just have to hope they can be utilised in the 1st team once everyone else is back

They were only ever meant to be eased in this year... Not thrown in at the deep end!

Maybe it'll stand them in good stead going forward, and prove to be a blessing in disguise!

NEXT SEASON people... NEXT SEASON is the one!!!!🤔🙄

Yes, to get an idea of where he's headed physically, compare his level to his peers, for example at U18s for Spurs or for England U17s in Euro Championship last year. There he looks plenty strong, powerful. Not super quick, but with good acceleration over first few yards. So I expect he'll catch up physically in men's football and then the quality will show.
