No mobility at all though. Players just run off him. On our big pitch, no thanks. A little overrated on the ball anyway. Decent passer that looks easy on the eye because he’s left footed but don’t think his feet are anything special to get away from people under pressure.

not sold on Guehi either.

You've seen him more than me so maybe I have to retract my desire to sign him (partly due to the hype all the big clubs in Europe rumoured to be after him) :cool:

I do watch a fair bit of Palace as they were my local team growing up and half my family are Palace fans. Could be wrong but definitely see a fair few limitations in his game. I think a lot of palace fans have overhyped him as they’ve had workhorses in their central midfield for as long as I can remember, probably pre 90s.

Haven’t seen the rumours but I’d be surprised if there’s any really big clubs truly in for him. Like Guehi the price they’d want really eclipses the talent level. Eze is a really talented player though. Really great to watch him run at people but goes missing for long periods as well. Think Lacroix and Muniz have been their best players this year

He's incredible (amazing under pressure, what you on about? One of the most press resistant players in the league..) and Guehi is fucking great as well.

Palace fans have nailed him and all the big English clubs will be after him. He's got a MUCH higher ceiling than Eze.
 
We all like marquee signings or youngsters with bags of potential but the state the club is in right now, what we really need is some solid recruits with PL experience.

I know I'll get hounded out here but Christian Norgaard is better than anything we've got in midfield and he can take the captains arm band. I know he will be 31 when next season starts but he pops up with the odd goal but his defensive work and work rate are what we need. Plus hes a proper player with a brain. Pop 15m on the table, double his wages for 2 years until Gray takes over.
