If he's by-passed in CMF as often as you and dustybin say he is I doubt they will spend £65m on him to replace Camavinga and Tchouaméni as their DM. With all of their attackers not that good at tracking back Real M. relies heavily one CMFs being able to defend well...

He wouldn’t be bypassed in La Liga and the CL. It’s like watching 90min of slowmo replays

I mean, the amount of work that needs doing is insane. We're talking 10 out, 10 in...at least. Never gonna happen, so I'm not even gonna have any expectations.

Long as that board is in the building, we'll never be a serious club.

Agree- RM don’t need a CDM- Tchouameni is their guy for the next 6 seasons. And he is damn good.

They do need a RB however. I suspect they will bid for Spence this summer.

He's incredible (amazing under pressure, what you on about? One of the most press resistant players in the league..) and Guehi is fucking great as well.

Palace fans have nailed him and all the big English clubs will be after him. He's got a MUCH higher ceiling than Eze.

Agree- the more I think about it he is headed for one of the big English clubs- RM don’t need a CDM right now, Barca can’t afford him, Atlético just bought Gallagher and he won’t be interested in PSG. I’m gonna take a guess at City, Chelsea or Woolwich.

Tottenham enquire about Pavel Sulc amidst interest from Premier League rivals

Tottenham Hotspur have made their first move in their pursuit of one Viktoria Plzen star Pavel Sulc, but the Lilywhites are not the only ones who are eyeing a summer move for the midfielder.

Tottenham may be set for a midfield rejig at the end of the season as speculation continues to suggest that Yves Bissouma could be on his way out of Spurs this summer.

Playmaker must take 33% pay cut to join Tottenham this summer

Recent reports have revealed what it would take for the most expensive English player in history to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

This season, Jack Grealish has slipped down the pecking order, with Guardiola favouring Jeremy Doku and Savinho as his primary options on the wings.

The 29-year-old’s diminishing role has sparked speculation about a potential move away from the Etihad.

Given his current struggles, there is growing belief that a transfer could be on the cards, with Spurs among the clubs monitoring Jack Grealish’s situation.

However, whether a move to north London is financially viable remains a significant question.

No post- Poch we needed 10 in 10 out but that's not the case now.

The floor of the squad has been raised. We have less properly dog shit players clogging up the squad than we used to.
We have lots of very good young players for rotation who will be improved next year after the minutes they've played already. Players like Bissouma and Danso would have been nailed on starters for us 4-5 years ago, they are now squad players.

What we lack now is any elite attacker. Son and Kane carried us for years in that respect (alongside prime Dele and Eriksen) but we now look very light in that area.

3-4 signings could have this team back in the top 4, just look at what Villa and Forest achieved very quickly with some good recruitment.

I'd focus on signing nailed on starters in the following 4 positions in order of priority:

6: Upgrade Bentancur and Biss
LW: Son is finished
RW: Johnson is not good enough
CB: we need a consistent starter of a similar level to Romero and VDV as they can no longer be relied on

The disappointing thing is that this list is precisely what I was asking for at the beginning of last summer. It's been very clear where the squad holes are but as an unserious club we still go the cheap route with the likes of Werner/Odobert etc.

Ange is making our squad look worse than it is. Any half decent manager would have us top 6-8. Add a few quality signings and top 4 is very achievable.

PSG apparently rejected an offer for him last summer...but things may have changed since he's getting less playing time now a days...

There are obviously bigger issues with board and manager and its difficult to judge players with such a fucked up tactical system and no coaching buy why on earth are we thinking of giving Bentancur a new contract? We have to move some players on and he's not offering much if anything these days. Him and Bissouma should be out and its needs freshning up.

Angel likes him hence the offer whereas Bis,.........
