I don't think the team being near the bottom of the league table is what Levy had in mind when he employed Postecoglou.

And what is the next manager going to do?
He'll need to work with the majority of the same players.
Are we going to spend a few seasons near the bottom now because the players Levy got for Postecoglou aren't good enough, or is the next manager going to organise the team better so we're battling for top 4 (which is what Levy wants)?
Precisely... mid table mediocrity for the foreseeable

No chance getting an NFL franchise. So many hurdles. I can see playoff games being played in London in the next ten years but a franchise in London profoundly changes the NFL eco system. What division would they play in? This requires 24 of the 32 owners to agree to it. Maybe the Jags up sticks from Jacksonville but again that is years off.

Not so sure mate. Read the third paragraph

Tottenham: 'Google interest adds intrigue to stadium story'

You don't construct a purpose built NFL stadium with just hosting a couple of matches anually being the long term goal

How old is Joe Lewis? Wishing an old man death is not where I want to be but what other hope is there? Nothing will change - rudderless and hopeless under frugal investors who have no ambition to win, just grow their nest egg for another 25 years
Lewis is 88.

Two or so years ago the formal ownership of the club was moved into a trust that is managed by two independent professional trustees. The Levy family has some of the shares in the trust but the majority is held by Lewis' kids and I assume his grandkids.

There is the once in a lifetime chance that once Joe is gone, one of his kids or grandkids assumes control and turns out to be way more ambitious in regards to football. But the odds aren't great on that one.

Fuck sake. I'm sure he's been around 88 for like 15 years now

Probably too busy snorting Colombias finest off the rack of some digital slut on a yacht in Monaco...

Would think there’s more chance they sell their stake immediately
