By definition the Europa league is a second rate trophy. Not sure why that would be controversial. It is literally the second competition of Europe. Look at the clubs involved and tell me that this is elite.

Given the rewards + our lack of trophy success, yes even a second rate trophy is huge.

Been reluctant to go back to a 3/5 atb but it does depend on how you do it...Xabi Alonso plays wing backs but not in the classic Conte or Portuguese sit deep style.

We'd need to sign more CBs tho

Ange is missing the point.

The majority of Spurs supporters wanted him to do well and he has had an awful lot of good will.

The belief in Ange has left the majority of the players and the supporters.

The Spurs supporters will still get behind the team regardless.

Starting next season with Ange is another matter.
