Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yep. In hindsight, I wish those first 10 games had never happened. It got everyone, myself included, way too excited, (mainly because of the turgid football we'd had to endure previously) and gave Ange far too much credit in the bank.

The fact is, he's been given more leeway and patience than any manager in my lifetime. It is also a fact that he is the biggest, incompetent sack of hot air, and the most dislikable manager I've had to endure in my life. For the love of god, get fucking rid.

Wouldn't worry about it, every single Spurs fan was enamoured by him and thought he was the messiah the first 10 where he picked up 3 MOTM's and the way he came across in press conferences was refreshing, the players obviously loved the way he setup because it let them off the leash post Conte, reality hit us post Chelsea match and we never really recovered.

Anyway I think he goes after Thursday should we lose.

Speak for yourself.

At the time I said we were not playing great but we are winning so I won't complain. I also said I don't think the tactic is sustainable for the season.

After the Chelsea loss I then said I think he's absolutely dumb for persisting with the high line with 9 men and Eric Fucking Dier at CB and it was alarming. I said unlike most on here and most pundits who praised him, I thought the fact that he was actually getting praised for it was weird and then named managers like Mourinho who were sensible to tweak things depending on opponent.

I wanted him out early so don't try to box everyone together because you got it so wrong as little as a few weeks ago.

Love the way you talk for the entire fan base🤣

He’s not just an embarrassment to this club, he’s an embarrassment to the Premier League.

I have never seen a more unqualified manager in this league at a football club outside of Tim Sherwood and Ryan Mason and I would argue both of those are actually better tactically than this buffoon.

It’s just beyond words at this point, part of me doesn’t even want this cunt to have a chance of winning a trophy here because I don’t want his name anywhere near our history books, sad but true such is my level of disdain for the twat.

No chance of him winning it anyway let’s be honest, obviously if we do I will stomach it and celebrate because I would love to see the club win a trophy but fuck me, what a position to be in.

Still think Sherwood did okay :cautious:

hindsight is 20:20 innit?

I can understand losing a game. But it would be nice to watch us and see if the players looked coached and motivated. Like there's some organisation and a shape. Who knows maybe then we wouldn't give 4 gifts to the opposition and have a chance at winning.

Our attempts at playing it out from the back are absolutely comical as well.

he did an excellent job as interim manager, a lot better than AVB football. He just wound people up with his cocky attitude and expectation that he should get the job. If he had been less cocky he would have been remember well. The football we played that season under AVB is as bad as what we have seen this one just less chaotic, it was horrible, players had totally given up and we had basically collapsed.

These players are done so I don't even think any amount of coaching on the training pitch now will make a difference, they're just going through the motions.

I think though what's more alarming is the lack of accountability at this club, for many years it's too easy for players to make mistakes and then find themselves in the team again.
