that point really makes me wanna smoke, and i dont smoke. It's such an easy tweak to stop that from happening, the number 6 doesn't need to push on also if your inverted full backs are pushed up, whether wide or inside.
Bentancur just needs to sit in-between VDV and Romero.
If there's a transition moment then it's effectively a back 3 which is gonna have an easier job holding up the attack until one of the full backs drop back in to make it a 4.

It somewhat worked at the start of last season due to VDV but this season with him missing most of the games it's a fruitless exercise

This has been very long gone. I am ashamed of such person ever have had anything to do with my beloved club honestly. My mate used to live in the same apartment block in Manchester as Saha. He used to come home pissed in the early hours almost every night and his girlfriend would always scream at him for wiping his bum with towels and leaving them on the towel rail.

I only saw it this morning, the way the described it on the radio when I was listening was as the ball went under his foot and the attacked nicked in and scored. He was beaten by a faster, more committed attacker. It wasn't a brainfart IMO, it was just a player who couldn't even be arsed.

The problem is, the idiot in the high castle doesn't understand football, even to this basic level. He's been totally conned into thinking this man has some sort of masterplan to win the ropey league despite losing to Leicester, Ipswich, Wolves, Everton, and the more mid table clubs like Brighton, Bournemouth, Palace and Fulham.
How any one with half a brain can think losing to those teams is ok because we're gonna beat better teams in the ropey league is beyond me. I'm sure Levy, at this stage, has breached so many of the legal responsibilities of a company chairman.

Its a social experiment at this stage. 17 league defeats followed by Ange talking to his shoes every time.

What is really annoying is that we've blown an easy opportunity at winning a European cup. Under any sort of competent manager who just refuses to give up soft goals, we'd be the best team in that tournament by a mile. But no, we give up stupid goals every game and need to score at least 3 to have any chance of winning under Ange.

don't know about that, it's not the conference cup or whatever it's called. Its a really difficult trophy for English clubs to win .
we've had better squads and managers and failed to make a real dent in this comp

I've been through all the emotions to be honest. Since the beginning of the aussie frauds rein, i've gone from cautiously optimistic, happy, confused, worried and depressed and that was just last season.

This season has been mainly wild amusement, worry, sadness, real fucking anger and now probably the worst one of all, apathy.

I just don't really seem to care about this shitshow anymore. I find myself looking at my phone whilst the match is on, just waiting for the inevitable loss instead of actually watching the game. I've never done that in my life before 😥.

Different this year without the CL teams dropping in. Frankfurt (who we should have beaten last week) are arguably the best side in it. We'd be strong favs in the semis against that Norway team. Final would be 50/50 if we got there
