Justin was absolute king of the on-pitch wind up. What he lacked in high end ability, he more than made up with knowledge of the dark arts. A player that fans loved and opponents hated.
Sadly went too soon as he was carving out a nice managerial career for himself. Was he the best left back in football? Even he would admit he wasn't but he was all in on every game and the fact he wanted to punch Robbie Savage but restrained and still got red carded... and we still won... puts him up there as a cult hero of mine... even if I cursed him a few times when opposing right winger left him on his backside...
I loved him as a player. Him, Paul Allen, Paul Stewart,obviously Mabbutt, and Samways weren't exactly world beaters but they gave everything for the club and that meant the world to me.
He gets a nose bleed if he’s near the top of the table

Since the date ticked over to 2025, we've lost 10 league games this season. Won 4, drawn one. 13 points in 2025
And we have 4 very losable games left.
And I don't think we'll win the Europa League after all that anyway
I did think the same. Maybe the players are more professional than we give them credit for?
These days they're media trained and they're probably also aware of fines and punishments for saying anything that may bring the club into disrepute.
Looks like we grew up in the same era... Gazza, Howells, big Pat van den Hauwe... now there was a left back you wouldn't mess with... although I am pretty sure he played right back that day to counter Ian Woan... I remember Woan being replaced in the second half. He'd had enough of being clattered!!!
It feels to me like some of the fans don't see the point replacing Ange unless the replacement can, and possibly will, win us the league.

Matt - this is not the team to support if you want to win more than you lose... now if you want to see Beyonce belt out Single Ladies then this is the club for you... if you want to see whether the Cleveland Browns are any good then this is the club for you... if you want to experience the 500m, 17 turn with 2 DRS zones go karting circuit then this is the club for you... but if you want to see a business show a modicum of ambition and maybe win some football games then this is not the club for you...
Yeah I don't see him going anywhere now until the season is finished.
Even if we crash out of Europe, there will only be 3 league games left at that stage. Unless the manner of the defeat in Europe is such that Levy pulls the trigger to make a show of it, so there is a good chance he goes if we lose to Bodo.
But it just feels that Levy has decided to see the season through with Ange regardless.
I genuinely think there will be a huge clearout of all the coaching in the summer, probbaly only Mason survives, but really, he should go too.

I doubt it. It’ll probably need defeat over both legs, I’d sooner win it than wish him out at this point. He’s gone. If we can win in the meantime then brilliant.

If he stays to the end of the season it will be because of a clause in his contract meaning he gets a smaller payout if he fails to meet certain targets, which he's obviously going to fall short of.
Every fucking decision Levy makes is entirely dictated by money. It's odious.
Go through any season since Martin Jol and find one where we have lost 50%+ of our home games.
We're at 47% losses so far. 2 more home games left. If we were to lose them that would be 6W 3D and 10 losses. 52.6% loss ratio and only 31.5% win.
That's as bad as I can recall for the last 2 decades.
It needs to be better. To charge us the money they charge us, it needs to be anywhere between 1st -6th in almost every season and our home form needs to be very good.
If we go out of europe he will get fired imo. Levy wont fuck around. Transfers and cash yes but this manager he will fire him. Just an opinion.
Anyone who thinks Postecoglou should be here next season,regardless of the next 28 days has no clue.

I am not disagreeing with you Matt - I am merely pointing out that your expectations are not aligned with our owners.
There are a small number (three or four) die-hard Ange-first, non-Spurs fans on this forum. They crawled out of the bin after EF, but have since scuttled away again (post back to back defeats in the PL). One of their "lines to take" is "it's all about trophies". In other words the peak Poch year was no better than 2024-25. Utter drivel, and of course many of their other posts contradict this stance. It's a little perverts' club
