It’s been that price since Xmas I think
Need the pre match music like last night at every match to get the crowd in the mood, usually at PL games DJ plays rubbish thump thump noise that nobody sitting around me can even identify.
Don't quite get the dislike of the stadium in some quarters , everyone I speak to loves the place.
And on the subject of half and half scarves, saw two ST's who never miss a match with those scarves last night, obviously some of our fans buy them as souvenirs of the match, another area where some seem to get so upset about for some unknown reason.

First comment on that was laughing at the gooners effort in the CL, where they embarrassed themselves.

Stadium itself isn’t the issue it’s the shite that has been served up in it since we moved in. The stadium is amazing and is loud when there is something to be loud about.

Agree with the music and it is one of the best stadia in the world, structurally. Last night and on other occasions, the atmosphere generated matched anything WHL did. Unfortunately not often enough, as I can probably count on one hand when that happened.
It's a chicken and egg situation - atmosphere depends on the football dished up and the players are wanting/needing a noisy crowd. Remember the game under Conte in CL against Milan - atmosphere was rocking at the start of the game, but the football was turgid and it all went quiet.
With regards to half and half scarves, I think the main objection is with the League ones - a Spurs/Woolwich/Chelsea, etc are an abomination.
I have ones from any CL away game I attended and an England/Malta one.
I assume there was no ticket exchange last night? I think that’s the albatross for us, enables so many neutrals and spectators to turn up and watch and take photos, even away fans now due to the £25 memebrship. Something needs to be done to limit it
Yes absolutely, the absence of tourists and Sonny fans was noticable, even in the premium seats. One guy next to me was obviously treating himself and his family but were obviously Spurs supporters (have to say he had the whitest gnashers I've ever seen!)
I remember the first game under Nuno after Covid there was incredible atmosphere that day. The atmosphere can be incredible but when the crowd atmosphere is flat we are really flat so I see the stadium as a double edged sword.
No Exchange last night, just Share for Gold ST holders to transfer their tickets to family or friends.
The £25 membership is only an end of season thing and there is a cutoff date of at least a day before ticket sales begin for a match to prevent away fans from buying tickets, which I assume also applies to the Exchange, so I don't think that's an issue.
As far as limiting tourists and neutrals, as long as they are members then nothing can be done about it. If they are not members and are buying from touts then sure, it should be stopped, but how?
Maybe rolling QR codes will help; at least it will prevent the use of screenshots. At the moment it appears to have only been rolled out to some ST holders (mine included, but not a mate's) and not to members. Some will be in for a shock if it's applied to all ST holders and members next season, which I hope it will be.
One thing we could do is require a min membership period before being buy ticket exchange tickets. Would eliminate the tourist/away fans thing. BTW, at the AZ game we chased some AZ fans out of the West Stand!
One big plus of Sonny going (when he eventually does) is hopefully we have a drop off in that part of the "fanbase". It's a tourist "I love Sonny" thing that in my curmedgeonly view, does fuck all for the atmosphere I enjoy. Oh, and he's well past it.
Yeah, we pay for best Wiltshire ham, soft poached eggs and baked parmesan and garlic thrice cooked chips... but we get served up is a plate of wafer thin ham, fried eggs cooked in lard and last nights re-heated chips that are just lukewarm.
