There is one big problem with that though. You seem to be suggesting that the players should take no share of the blame. Yes, Ange has clearly left us with a squad that is living on easy street in terms of tactical positioning, tracking runners, bothering to look for imminent dangers etc, but some of them seem quite comfortable with that, and that in itself is a disgrace. I agree that we have many players who would perform much better under a better manager, but we also do seem to have a good few who like the ostensibly easy life under Ange...

I have nothing but sympathy for the players and the torture they've been put through by this fat chancer.

This season is not on them.

They have been hung out to dry.

Lambs to the slaughter game after fucking game after fucking game and asked to perform miracles.

The problem has been the SYSTEM.

The problem has been the MANAGER.

Ange should be kissing their feet that they are in a position to save him some face - in the worlds eyes, not mine - and afford him the chance to brag about winning a cup he's had minimal involvement in achieving.
