Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nice to see him get some silverware. Rumour is he’ll stay at Bayern for next season so will no doubt add to the tally.

They'll be a real force in Europe next season once they've added Wirtz and sorted out their backline. He should forget about the Premier League goals record. Haaland will eventually catch that up anyway if he sticks out his City contract. He should stay at Bayern for a few more years and win a bunch more trophies, and then perhaps move to the MLS to see out his retirement in a country he loves.

Haaland won't break Shearer's record. He probably won't get Kane's neither.

He is too big , and his body will give up to injury way before that.

And yes, Bayern, like a high majority of the top European teams are likely to be stronger.

Bayern won't win it next season though, and Kane ain't going to get better whatever his fans may like to believe

At least I don't think so.

like going to the redlight to lose your virginity. cringe really.

Was he meant to move to a shit team to prove himself?

He’s Harry motherfucking Kane. Arguably the best striker on the planet. He was only ever moving to a huge team. There are probably 5 or 6 teams on the planet who could get him.

Of those, it needed to be one who needed a striker and were interested. Madrid went for Mbappe, Barca had Lewa, City have Haaland, Liverpool wouldn’t pay the fee for an older guy like him and we wanted to sell abroad.

Bayern are a huge club. He didn’t go there just for easy league wins, he went because they’re considered elite. Hardly cringe to move to one of the top 5 clubs in the world.

Even so, I don't think it's as big as made out to be. I'd say being your country's all time top scorer is bigger than being the PL's. He could come back here and still fall a bit short anyway. He has a good thing going on in Germany and is at a club that loves him.

If I was him go to Saudi - less taxes & the MLS ain't going anywhere fast, the Saudi league will be 3/4 times bigger than it is now in 5 years. The MLS will die a slow & painful death as it should.

Baffling isn’t it. They were obviously the one who really wanted him and bidded. Cringe going to Bayern Munich? Come on.

It’s obviously not a big achievement if we’re being real, but neither is it embarrassing. Elite footballer goes to elite club and wins cup shocker.

If he had gone to PSG you could say exactly the same. Had he gone to Real Madrid he would have had a 50/50 chance every season.

It's an utterly daft post which makes zero logical sense.

That is how it's always worked hasn't it?

A good player goes to a better club because they have an actual chance of winning something.

Have another shot at winning the CL then come back to Spurs.

A man can dream. I miss him.

Yeah, you might be right..

I think scoring 40 international goals, most of real significance and a strong number in the PL, plus having taken respective sides, domestic and international to trophies trumps all the goalscoring feats. Of course I include us in that failed in the biggest moments category. Just how I see it.

One Bundesliga title is the only thing (so far)that can't be taken away from him, as in bettered or beaten at some point.

It's the goals that matter that matter I'd how I view the best ever strikers.

Kane is fantastic but not in that top bracket.

But not many are.

Which club should he go to then?
he literally left cos of the trophy dodger shit....to go to the one place where you are literally guaranteed to win trophies and in the first year he still didnt! theyve been nowhere near the CL, which is where they will be judged because they have had their league on lock for the last decade.

if he went to someone in italy or spain then fair doos, going to bayern to win trophies is a copout, they have no genuine competition domestically.

hes also had the chance to win at least 4 trophies before going...didnt turn up when it really mattered in any of them...

good luck to him, diluted a legacy to win a shitty bundesliga with bayern....a bayern who are nowhere near europes top dogs now. might as well of gone celtic.

Leverkusen went invincible his first season, so it's not really a guarantee is it.

If he goes to a big club its also a guarantee that he will eventually win trophies. Big players dont go to Italy anymore and Real or Barca are a guarantee to win trophies as well.

No point in addressing him on this - he's repeated the same narrative more than once with several people correcting him but he won't listen, it's all a pyrrhic victory.
