Levy In or Levy Out

I think we will all need to show a measure of patience, because there is going to be a lot of expectation about what should happen.

My biggest hope is that a solid plan is in place.

Season 9 Lol GIF by The Office

This season means 'well at least it's not the 90s' retort cant be used anymore given its worse than anything we've seen since relegation in 1977. If Levy and the board had a shred of dignity they would resign. But they don't obviously.
As the right honourable Tomo Tomo eloquently put it in another thread, Levy would rather see this club fail under his stewardship, than succeed under someone else's.

Some 'fan' 🤷‍♂️

They’ll want to win this so they can tick the box. It won’t be the the start of them going for it or a realisation that this is what sport and football is about.
I get the feeling United will want it more. Thats my main concern for Wednesday, not the quality of the opposition. I can imagine Levy quaking in his boots at the heightened expectations CL qualification will bring ahead of the looming summer transfer window.
So long as he has alternative events lined up to substitute for the potential lack of European football he's probably not too bothered.

So Levy lied when justifying his new multi purpose arena!

Hmmm....interesting :ange-hmm:

Mate, your narrative means nothing to me. Absolutely nothing.

You really appear to gain more pleasure/satisfaction in slating Levy and ENIC than you do in anything that the club does that resembles success or victory.

You will possibly even prefer we lose on Wednesday, so you can get some weird justification for your viewpoint.

I just hope we win and then will wait to see what summer brings.

A rambling load of nonsense......

But you still didn't address my perfectly reasonable question 😆

In response to you, the reason I'm desperate for Levy / ENIC to fuck off is because I desperately want us to have the sustained success and winning mentality we've been lacking under their ownership for the last 25 years.

It's the likes of you that seem to revel in mediocrity and fear us becoming winners. You want more of the same.

Remember. It's goons and chavs that sing "Daniel Levy, we want you to stay "

Really? All the vibes coming out of United seem bad to me. From Radcliffe not paying for employees to go to Bilbao, a BBQ instead of parade, Amorim talking down CL next season. Just seems like a club very divided. Obviously their players still want to win, but I just get the feeling we are more focussed and together as a club.

Hopefully you're right. I just think the demands of the club are much higher from the top down.
Either way, this time next week we'll have a clearer picture.

Sometimes you just need a bit of luck to break a hoodoo and get over the line. Palace played great yesterday by still had two massive pieces of fortune with the non-red card and missed penalty. Feel we’ve never ever got that in finals or semis.

One of the Levy / ENIC fans favourite arguments used to be that under their ownership we were "Punching above our weight"

As we look up at the likes of Palace, Brentford and Bournemouth etc its not an argument you hear quite so much 😂
Ha so true. Remember the sugar days & the 90s isn’t used quite as much either now. In all seriousness the standard of the teams at the top has gone down a lot & all these different competitions are really open. It’s not the like previous seasons where you have amazing consistent teams hoovering up all the trophies. You don’t have to be that good to win stuff as the Europa cup shows us in a few days.
I get told ten haags united were shit but they won double what levy/Enics has won & they had 20 less years!

Usually every cup winner needs a bit of luck along the way. As you say, palace keeper should have gone & then city win it. Certain teams I associate with luck in cup victories. Madrid, united & Chelsea come to mind.
