Uh-huh.
Surprisingly confident by my standards too. But also worried about the officiating & VAR. 1 harsh call against us could decide it. & the other issue is they usually turn up for finals & we don’t. But they are average & we always beat them lately. Just a shame we lack creativity at the moment.
He’ll need to do more than just put out the cones the fat cunt
I've not seen anything from Solanke to suggest he can play there. He doesn't have an eye for a pass, he doesn't have particularly good dribbling skills either. His best work is not done in tight spaces. We are pinning our hopes on a player adapting to a completely new position in a European final. It's like the 4-4-2 lineups with Son and Johnson as traditional wingers
I haven't seen a single solution to the midfield dilemma that excites me. If Sarr is fit, I think it'll be a midfield of Sarr, Bentancur and Bissouma, which is not very inspiring but neither is shoehorning Solanke, Odobert, Son or Porro there. The only thing that might work is that they have the legs to overrun an aging Casemiro and hopefully nullify Bruno's passing. But that of course is very pragmatic and reactionary, which isn't Ange's vibe.
I don't think we can afford to use Son as an impact sub. It's a one off game, we have to go with our strongest 11, and although he's not had a great season he is still our best LW.Back 6 picks itself.
I would play Odobert in the 10 role.
I’d start Richy on the left and use Son as an impact sub.
Looks like we'll have to go with Odo in the 10, it's the only solution I think, not great but hella better than Son or Solanke there.
That is bad. I have no faith in VAR at all. Even the close offsides with the lines aren’t fool proof & sort of seems made up as they go along. Anyway it might be a match where VAR isn’t needed. Where’s our cup final song?!…At least you weren’t accused of being a Woolwich fan as these are genuine concerns that re VAR
You can count on that 100%I’m looking forward to it because we’re going to win and stick it right up those smug Manc cunts!
I’m just worried that the officials including VAR will have an agenda to ensure we lose!
Look at VAR yesterday
Not fit for purpose!
Thank you very much!
