Stop being ridiculous. He finished 5th last season, with a squad that had just lost Harry Kane, and had to play Emerson Royal at Center back. He absolutely deserves to be the in Premier League.

And some people think the manager of Brentford or Bournemouth are going to be better. lol.

Now let's back him with some decent signings and win the EPL.
 
As much as I think he can be inept at times, he proved that our team has to prioritise on one thing as the squad isn't ready made yet.
It would be 'spursy ' to chuck him under the bus and not give him another chance.
However, if its the same results, then look around for a replacement.
He earned that.
 
He's admitted he made a mistake with the recruitment and that cost us in the league. He's also said numerous times (including his interview after the full time whistle) that we have to target "experience" in the next window.

Watched the game when I got home and we basically shithoused a victory which I'm actually very happy about and didn't think Ange had it in him. Of course it was probably forced with the injuries to Kulu, Maddison and Bergvall but the tactical fouls, the defending deep when needed, the Danso sub, the solid foundation with a midfield 3 that were just too athletic for the United team....he's surprised me with the way he's adapted.

The thing with keeping him is that hes already said we need experience and I don't think he will allow Levy to buy more 'prospects' without voicing his objection publicly after the way this season has gone.

If we can secure a manager like Xavi or another big name who won't be hoodwinked by Levys attempts to buy 'prospects' I would still replace him but if it's these Silva type manager then.its probably not worth replacing, especially considering the squad genuinely seem to believe.

Everyone has seen for six months that he was dragging the club down and this project wasn't working. This madcap ending to the year doesn't change any of that.

If Ipswich and Co were better it's pretty obvious we would have taken the league more seriously and put more points on the board...we downed tool in that comp around January.
 
After the game in his interview with TNT he was asked about his change of tactics in the Europa League and he said that he thinks knockout and league football are two different things and require different approaches.

If he really still believes that classic Angeball is the best way for us to play in the PL then we need to say goodbye to him. Pushing the full backs into the centre, leaving huge gaps everywhere, pressing like wild dogs with no organisation, none of that works in the PL. If he plans to try that style again next season then we will lose most of the matches.

The only way he can carry on is to convince Paratici that he will play more sensible football next season. It doesn’t have to be full-on Mourinho terrorist-ball like last night but it has to be more pragmatic and more flexible. He has to respect the opponent and the limits of his own players. If he’s humble enough to do that, maybe there’s a chance he stays.

Problem with giving him some time at the beginning of next season to prove himself (lets say 10 or 15 games like someone suggested) is that in case of failure we are back to scenario we had this season (no proper replacement available, unless you want to do panic hiring or give it to Mason).

Now its time to get proper replacement.
 
I want him gone,
there is nothing to suggest he will change next season and play the league a different way
it will be more of his wide open football

Look at Man U, they wanted Ten Hag saCked,he won the FA cup,they then spent a fortune on players in that summer only to sack Ten Hag months later

You can't just brutally sack him after basically winning the UEFA Cup. Something kinder, more mutual perhaps, as he's ended by doing us all a favour. When we kept on finishing 3rd, 4th and 5th, everyone, us and other fans, went on about not winning a trophy. Now we have, it shuts up a lot of people. Now it's up to Levy to get his big fat wallet open and push on, like we didn't do for Poch.

Get it done Levy, or move over and let someone else take this club to places.

I think Levy should thank Ange at the end of the season, shake his hand, they should have a nice dinner together and with their families and promise to hang a lot of pictures of the cup win night at the stadium. Maybe a nice goodbye gift, he seems to like watches?
A cult hero, not sacked, a gentlemanly agreement to part way at the end of the league season because Ange's job is done here. He's done it, he delivered. It's just time for someone younger to coach the players.

January we just lost to better and more organised teams.

And then in February we played 4 league games and won 3.

So your argument doesn’t really add up.
