Today has really made me realise just how much I wish we'd won a trophy during one of the Poch, Kane and Prime Dele years rather than finishing top 4 (but never 1st)

Yep, it was my biggest gripe with Poch. He sacked off domestic cups every season. And what did we get from it? CL football and bantered to bits..
People like Jan, Toby, Dembele,Kane deserved a couple of pots and that team could and should have lifted them
100%. Loved the Poch years and the football and vibes were unreal.
Last night was even better than that though, and as a result I think regardless of how long he’s around, it means that Ange’s legacy at this club is bigger than Poch’s.
Totally respect others will disagree with that, but Poch never got us there and Ange did.
We're basically doing what we laughed at West Ham fans for, tbh. We're not champions of Europe, we're europa league champions.
And no, we didn't. Not one team we beat make it out the CL league stage - this is a fact.
Enjoy the win without making it about how amazing Ange is by pretending we've achieved something we just haven't - it isn't fucking hard. Nice one Ange, now go so we can try to get back to duking it out with Madrid in the CL instead of Bodo Glimt. Sorry.

It’s good natured banter and that’s all it is where it’s given and taken and I’m as bad as anyone but at that time they all looked up to us and the side that Poch got together.
They grudgingly accepted that we were the best team in the PL during that period as I accepted that we didn’t get a trophy for it for one reason or another!
Last night Ange got us over the line and nobody can take that away from him and if you check my posts prior to the game I was quietly confident that he would despite some of our league performances earlier
There shouldn’t be any cunt offs on here today but that’s TFC for you!!
Ange should definitely remain for the final game which should be a celebration and also the bus parade of the trophy down the High Road

We’ve won the biggest trophy we’ve ever won in the club’s history.
Granted for the third time, but still the first time in 40 years.
We’ve had better teams that didn’t win anything this big but as the scum are finding out today, you don’t get trophies for being the better team.
Just enjoy it. We’ve been laughed at for not winning shit, who gives a fuck what people think about us when we have won something

Newcastle beat Liverpool and other good prem teams and Palace beat Man City and Villa. Not comparable.
But anyway, there’s no point in bringing up facts .. I knew what would happen as soon as we won this and I know what’s coming next. Facts for now won’t matter - it’s all about optics.
I can respect opinions about not wanting Ange to be here next season (even if I disagree), but I don’t respect our fans downplaying the achievement of winning the Europa League. Your agenda has blinded your joy.
Those saying the UEFA Cup/Europa League is not a major trophy don't know their football and football history. Go read some books and educate yourselves. Sorry, not sorry. Up the fucking Spurs! I'm not gonna stand for people discrediting this achievement.
