I'm sure they do
EL Final Man of the Match and EL Player of the Season, but yeah, carry on.No they weren't.
He was good.
That's all.
I won't be joining you in your re-write of history.
But carry on, if you wish.
i'm not so sure they do. i think the players are like fans and are caught up in the emotion of a dramatic big win and wouldn't speak out against ange or do anything but celebrate in the immediate aftermath but they know he's out of his depth. i still don't see any strong statements in his support anywhere and i think as the afterglow fades the consensus will be he has to go
if it's never to be forgotten why the need to remind us just 5 days later?
i think he's gone but they'll wait a week to announce it to let all the emotion drop down post bilbao. unfortunately ange will likely keep commenting and we'll get more of these itk's to get people up in arms on both sides but in week or so i'd bet he's gone. of course levy is always capable of completely fucking it up so we'll see.

I don’t think it’s as easy as you say and is so incredibly risky. The whole campaign can blow up with a single odd goal getting through. Based on where our season was when we apparently decided to risk it all for the cup, we were in a very different situation than many other clubs in that our season was already likely over.Don't let your arse friends hear this, but winning the Europa by absolutely downing tools in the PL isn't hard.
Don't ask me why it hasn't happened more often like you don't know.
Nobody has ever, to such an extent, thrown away game after game after game in order to win it.
Actually, that's wrong West Ham did in the conference league. That is closer to the Europa than than Europa is to the Champions League.
So let's not act as if he's some sort of messiah. 3rd, 4th, 5th best teams from 1 or 2 team leagues are nowhere near top half Premier League sides.
Newcastle won a trophy AND finished 5th.
Palace won a trophy and finished on the most points in their history.
We won a trophy and had our worst season in our 143 year history domestically.
i mean, he's the best defender on a blue blood nation world cup winning squad. whether he's 'bigger' or not, he's a cut above our usual player profile. i love cuti and would love to keep him but if he wants to go i'd sell him and replace him with another high level defender no prob. can't keep him if he's demanding ange stays either
They’re guessing and hedging their bets as a result so they don’t look daft if it falls a different way to they have reported.Don't like the way journalists are still reporting that his future is up in the air. Tells me that Levy still hasn't got a clue. This needs a resolution this week, no time for the usual ENIC dithering.
I meant more that they can lose 22 matches out of 38 and the manager calls them outstandingi'm not so sure they do. i think the players are like fans and are caught up in the emotion of a dramatic big win and wouldn't speak out against ange or do anything but celebrate in the immediate aftermath but they know he's out of his depth. i still don't see any strong statements in his support anywhere and i think as the afterglow fades the consensus will be he has to go

I don’t think we strategically sacrificed the league to the degree Ange has maybe suggested. I think it’s a cop out now that we won. We didn’t bench swaths of starters in league games to rest for the cup. More often than not we played our strongest team, and the only exceptions was integrating returning players a little slower. Ange is deflecting and trying to take the blame for the poor season off him and the players.
he has to say it, we finished 17th with 22 defeats. he cant say that he gave his best in that can he with that return LOL.
i don't think they want him to stay but that's just speculation on my part. if i was say madders i'd be over the moon with a trophy and i wouldn't spoil the fun by complaining about ange but i'd still think he was not up for the job and be really concerned about another season under him but i'd never say any of this publicly until he was gone and maybe not even then. he got us a big win and it would be bad manners to trash him nowI meant more that they can lose 22 matches out of 38 and the manager calls them outstanding
I'm sure they are more than happy for Ange to stay
I'm not so sure.
if we'd been sitting around top five he would've shit on this cup and given long speeches about the importance of playing at the highest levels, etc. blah blah blah.. ange is in it for ange
if he really was the straight talking truth sayer he would've said, 'we had a terrible league campaign with a lot of injuries but a lot we got wrong too and it's unacceptable. this cup is very important for the club and we're thrilled but there's much work to be done to get back to where we belong.'he has to say it, we finished 17th with 22 defeats. he cant say that he gave his best in that can he with that return LOL.
but its no surprise his legion of simpletons believe it.
