i haven't seen the 'we got a lot wrong' part and his tune after the victory has certainly switched to self righteousness.
His attitude and behaviour has been enabled by the club and some fans. It’s allowed him to think this is some unprecedented insane achievement and has allowed him to parade it and act like the league is irrelevant.
It’s extremely small time and short term thinking.

the cl qualification part has everyone feeling like this was a top 5 season for some reason. we lost 22 times. it wasn't just a bad dream. that shit happened
Yeah we got a get out of jail free card at the end due to winning that final. Let’s be honest, neither side who won that game really belongs at CL level.
Winning that cup was amazing in so many ways but we have to be real and look at who we played and then ask whether wins over those teams justifies 22 losses and not even getting 38 points.
