It might be true.. But if it is, it's pure chance.. If it was 2019, maybe it's worth taking notice. But DiMarzio is to be ignored nowadays

It’s a throwaway line at the bottom of this article about Marco Silva and us meeting him.So maybe you’re right.

Hilarious that this is dropped in at the end of a report that was actually about marco silva.

“Marco Silva in recent days had also received an offer from Al-Hilal, but the Portuguese coach declined since he prefers to stay in Europe for family reasons. Tottenham also moved for the 1977 class, with which there were some meetings. In the last few hours, however, the possibilities of Postecoglu's stay on the Spurs bench have grown” translated from the report.

Yeah. I don't doubt that Paratici and DiMarzio still have contacts with each other.. But if Paratici was feeding concrete information to DiMarzio that he's staying.. I instinctively feel like DiMarzio would be pushing that line harder.. Wanted to be visibly ahead of the rest of the press who are still saying it's very much up in the air.

Let's hope your pessimism is not infectious!
It's not pessimism, it's realism.

Football journalism is, in general, up in the air and on its arse all at the same time, 90% of the shite we lap up as fans is pure fantasy. Thing is they all have the same excuse, *things can change at any moment*.
