Levy appointing another manager happy to just tow the line, keep his mouth shut and work within the ENIC shackles is a recipe for another decade of under achievement, mid table magnolia paint and spreading our arse cheeks for our rivals every season.

Or, we keep the first manager that somehow managed to win at this club and give him 5 months to see if it looks like he might do it again.

Before we go head first into a manager who never won anything in his career and has less European experience than even the youngest members of our squad.

Every managerial search is the same. Calls to bring in seasoned, demanding, serial winners. Which forgets who our owners are, how they operate and the limitations. Its fanciful thinking of what people think we are compared to the reality. I wish Levy would fuck off but we are where we are. You need a certain skillset to do well here under this lot. Be pragmatic, improve players,accept 2nd or 3rd transfer targets and make it work. System managers dont work, managers used to the best players wont work.

He has won us our much coveted trophy. I think the last 2 years have shown however that he is severely out of his depth in so many aspects, and the vibes factor that was here with his style of play when he just arrived is well and truly gone.

We have SO MUCH to lose by keeping him. Conversely, we really have very little to lose by getting rid of him.

Every single one of these managers we’ve been linked to will still be on the market in January. If not them, there will be another one just like them. They are baked into the PL business model.

When ENIC bought us we were the 16th richest club in the world. We've climbed 7 places by Levy building us into a self sustainable business model.
The chavs and Man City have enjoyed their periods of dominance thanks to being bankrolled and treated like a billionaires plaything.

The year ENIC bought us Leeds were the 5th richest club on the planet. So you only have to see what financial mismanagement can do to a club. Look at the issues Man Utd have at the moment...

If we'd done a Leeds and yo-yo'd between the Premier league and League 1 then I'd accept the scumbag comment. However to massively increase our value/revenue, build a new stadium, build new training facilities all while reaching multiple finals and challenging for the title....and then be called a scumbag is just insanity.

Whether posters like or dislike an outgoing or incoming manager is so irrelevant.

It's not a personality contest and all I am ever interested in is whether whoever can make us competitive.

Competitive teams are likelier than not to win things. Uncompetitive teams can win things but it's a lot less likely.

A so-called big club needs to be competitive. Period.

He never falsified his history to get the position, he never guaranteed a finishing position in the league. The only statement he consistently made was that he ALWAYS wins a trophy in his second season. So it could be argued that he's the opposite of a fraud.

As I've said before, I believe he's tactically naive at this level, the season itself has been unacceptable under his leadership. All I'm saying is that to use the term fraud is factually incorrect and just over-emotional ranting.

I don't think he is a good coach. I think he just stumbled into a position no other spurs coach has been in, ever. Desperation to win a cup and an infinitely easier to win europa league than ever before.

I know ! I don’t really have any idea about his management style as I only watch Brentford when we play them. The chewing is just something i noticed, once you see it you can not unsee it!
