Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

exactly! been binning it off since 9 men chelsea. blokes just a clown that will spin bullshit anyway he can.

he really is the ultimate conman, its fascinating how many idiots actually buy the bullshit.

Ange: "It's just who we are, mate. As long as I'm here, that's what we're going to do. Even with five men, we'll have a go"

Also Ange: wins a cup by not doing that at all, actually.

This whole thing is an absolute shambles. Levy needs to back the man or get rid. Dragging this out isnt helping anyone.
There's no such thing as backing him now. Any lip service of backing him is just them kicking the decision down the road... When you let this story fester like this and when you allow the press to write that you are considering the managers future and have spoken to and about other managers without putting a brief out there to shut that down. We know you're not fully committed to him. Like Ten Hag at Man Utd last summer.

Nahhh. Willie Nelson was an old bloke with long grey hair and a straggly beard.

As I said above - if Solanke doesn't fluff his touch to score what should have been a fairly easy goal that final would be regarded as the finishing touch of a defensive based Cup run as good as any devised by Mourinho. It started with Frankfurt, continued with Bodo and for 80 minutes United couldn't get a sniff. Against a side that leaked record numbers of goals in the league.

It's not hard to recognise this AND ALSO think the league result means a change should/must be made.
You can go down all kinds of rabbit holes with this though, had we attempted to play a bit more of the very basic football that created that chance throughout the game up to that point, perhaps the players would have been a bit more warmed up and in rhythm and Udogie might have played a better weighted pass, and Solanke might not have received the ball like it was some kind of extra-terrestrial space rock crossed with a molten hot potato...

he didnt bin the league off, if he did he wouldnt of rushed back romero and VDV for a game in april against chelsea....the game where no one expected them to start and VDV limped off as a result of not being ready....set back further! and gambling with his career.

the guys an absolute joke, never seen someone contradict themselves so much, hell say whatever is needed at that time to keep the idiots on board..
I agree with you! He is full of shite and like you say he will say, do anything to cover his own back. One of which was saying as of January he "prioritised" The EL. Which ever way you cut it up, the man is a fool!

Downplaying the Europa League win talking about match stats or opponents is not valid justification for sacking Ange.

League form is, if you priorise League position over winning trophies.
I don't think anybody is doing that? I'm reading it as more of a nullification of the suggestion that the win should keep him his job.

Obviously, nullifying that point does lead you to just look at the league form though.

I'd also add that it's not as black and white as prioritising league form over trophies, everyone wants trophies I'm quite sure, some are willing to sacrifice league performance in preference of trophies, but only to some extent, last season and 17th place crosses the line for the vast majority I reckon.

He can say what he likes if the trophies and cup semis and finals keep rolling in.

If he gets sides to scout our league performances to see how easy we are to beat, then on the day we are hard to beat - but progresses us in cups, good for him and us.
