C'mon bruv - You know the answer to this.

The PLAN is to build a hotel and develop other real estate using club revenues: the money we pay for season tickets and merch. I still love the club but eyes wide open on what's going on here with ENIC/Levy/Lewis and why we have lowest wage to turnover ratio of any club in a Top 5 league. Real estate development is where the money is going instead of player wages.

Construction underway on 29-storey Spurs hotel as club aims for 2028 completion

To Levy's credit, the club arn't hiding this - so straight from the club website (link below) - "Meet the team" - The first team squad bios below (the players on the pitch very much the second team) - I'd bet the team members below making 200K per week or more ... never mind the real estate lawyers, construction company building the hotel, etc. Where do you think the money to pay these firms and construct the hotel is coming from?

But this wasn't what was sold to us fans, tho, right?

This what we need to keep focus on.

Rebrov was actually signed under Sugar so the purchase wasn't on Levy but I do feel that Rebrov was a casualty of Glenn Hoddle's management (who was hired by Levy).

Rebrov had a reasonably good first season with us (13 goals plus assists) which while not outstanding was definitely something that could have been built upon but Hoddle preferred a 35 year old Teddy Sheringham and Rebrov's first team opportunities were greatly curtailed.

I agree with your comments about Levy. We are fortunate to have a responsible chairman with a genuine love for the club (even though we may not always be happy with his decisions). I'll take Levy over the Glazers or Jim Ratcliffe or any of the Saudi/Qatari regimes any day. As my father always said: "Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it."
Rebrov was a victim of not having Shevchenko as his strike partner. He simply wasn't as good as the partnership suggested.

I heard a rumour back then that he liked the nose candy as well.

That's not what we were sold, tho.

I don't remember Baldcunt framing knocking down our old stadium and building a multitainment venue for that.
Of course not- that’s the difference between Public Relations and what you actually get served on your plate.

Levy obviously is not living up to his public promises. There is little recourse for the fans except to stop supporting at a financial/social level and hope that does something.

Obviously I wish it were different, but sadly it’s not.

Eze always confused me whether he plays 10 or on the wing. I suppose Grealish too. Both would solve our LW problem and provide for some support for Son, and provide experience.

Eze has more years left in his locker, but Grealish is a touch of class above I'd think (and better trained under Pep). That and he obviously has more CL experience. I'd say that seniority is more important to our squad than Eze at this stage.
Grealish would spend even more time on his backside .

We should never let him/them forget what they promised/stated intention was.
