We know he can cut it in the prem; but we need someone that can also dictate play a bit at the core of our MF.
I think he’s a run of the mill sitting midfielder. I don’t think he’s an upgrade that will make us much better. 100% agree we need a player that can control games from that position.
He also wasn’t a regular at Bayern and played less than 20 games due to injury and not anywhere near the level of Goretzka and Kimmich. Even when Kimmich played right back Pavlovic would play.

There's a free Ben Davies replacement available at PSV in Boscagli. 20m worth of left footed centre back for free lol. Watched him a few times this year whilst keeping tabs on Johan (who is entering the final year of his contract this summer by the way). What's that? £30 odd million for the 2?
Boscagli is very strong with his feet! Disadvantage is his speed. The rumors are that he goes to Monaco or Brighton.
With the high line of Ange ( IF he stay ) it would be self kill...

Isn’t it that we have the reverse problem right now. PSR room but low on cash?

Levy needs to sell the Women’s team to Lewis for 300m and the cheese room to Levy Cheese Holdings Ltd for 200m.

Correct,

We also have too many players even now to fit in next seasons CL squad - if we assume Davies contract ends 30 June as does Tel's loan then we get back to maximum we can for into CL squad.

Then the question is which players are leaving to accommodate incoming players eg not a great decision to buy a top CB if Romero is staying etc.

Nothing insurmountable, but someone needs to take the decisions.

On another topic, no real surprise ManCity and Chelsea have made moves in transfer market - both needed to sign players before Club World Club special window closes on 10 June.

But I'm sure Lewis buying womens team for 300m and Levy the cheese room for 200m will help focus minds on who to spend the money on.
