Plan B…not one.How can you get a player cheaper than FREE?

I can see the statement at the end of the window now.

“This set of players proved they can win a trophy so we didn’t feel the need to sign anyone to disturb that. Bringing Tel in permanently, renewing Ben Davies contract and bringing Solomon back in will be like new signings.

COYS, Daniel”

Only Tottenham could drain all the excitement out of winning a major trophy by letting this drag out. It’s like they’ve witnessed success and it’s scared the life out of them, so they’re now doing what they can to avoid that again.

Galatasary are trying to sign Sane and Osimhen.

Their annual club revenue is £200 million.
Levy and ENIC see the football side of the club and the stadium as two different entities.

The football club is self sufficient, spends only what it makes. The stadium events such as NFL, music concerts and rugby amongst other things fund their property portfolio and other adventures. The stadium was only ever built for them to use that as a cash cow for their other ideas outside of football. They could just offset the loan debt against the football club.

They weren’t bothered about us winning Europa, they were just happy we qualified for the champions league. They’d swap that cup win for a 4th place finish every day of the week.

They’ll be licking their lips at the prospect of Bergvall, Udogie, Van de Ven being touted at £70-80m in a couple of years.

Its worse than that. All the penny pinching and running a tight ship at WHL was so they could build this stadium to further penny pinch and pump the fans money into further property schemes.

Nowhere is there a consideration for a successful football club. The aim is to increase the net book value of the companies assets by any means possible. If we happen to have a couple of cup runs along the way then thats a bonus.
