If he's the guy who's taking over, TF's ceiling will be determined by Levy. He's a quality manager - what he's done with Brentford is proof of what's possible when you're backed by your board - and a great guy, but he's not Rumplestiltskin. Straw is straw under our chairman. But that doesn't mean that we can't play some high-quality football on a regular basis and hopefully grab another cup with him at the helm.
One thing I do hope is that all the fans who are sad about Ange's departure will give the guy a chance. It would be a sad state of affairs if he's shackled from the off by a horde of wailing man-children. If you lot have any anger to vent, there is only one guy to aim that at.

Yes, Ange can't win games in the PL and the other 2 can.
United have offered him that and he's accepted their terms. But he might think it's a safer bet playing in the CL with us under a manager who's made him and be willing to earn less. I'd imagine spurs would offer around 150k a week.

I am truly amazed at how this place was 99% anti-Ange, and quite spitefully too, from Dec onwards. But now he has been sacked most of the keyboard warriors are now focusing their vitriol against a new appointment. I guess some people just like being negative and inciting arguments. Very little love on here seeing as we all support the same club.

It’s not negative, it’s realistic to know that winning cup games isn’t sustainable playing regularly like that.
I’m currently watching the TNT highlights of the final with a lump in my throat, but I can still think it’s not a long term solution to play that way.
