That’s bull shit how many of the 20000+ spurs fans in the san manes on 21st may or 220000 lining Tottenham high st on the 23rd wanted him sacked ? The game is about glory and those of us actually invested in the team finally got a taste after too long a gap - it’s the keyboard warriors spending all weekend wanking and spouting shit on the internet that wanted him sacked - wonder how long before the frank out shit starts
Why are some making it out like absolutely everyone at the parade and in Bilbao was deep in the Ange cult? Can’t speak for Bilbao but I was at the parade and just kept quiet when his song came about, like my mate I went with and a lot of others around me. I was in the bit in front of that church next to that massive tree that’s opposite the West and from memory Ange’s chant barely got sung, it was mostly Johnson Again, 17th And I Don’t Know How and the odd Yid Army

Not really.

How many in the parade wanted him sacked? When they were delirious and in the haze of a european trophy? Probably not many, because we just had the best night of our lives... How many wanted him sacked when they were clearer headed and less emotional before that solitary game of football? When his subs were getting booed? The vast majority. The people who after the final, still thought that the manager should be sacked are not fairweather keyboard warriors.. They're people who don't do a complete 180 on their principles or their opinions at the drop of a hat.

Why would any genuine Spurs fan let that thought cross their mind on the evening of the match or during the parade?!

However, post celebrations I don’t think it makes you any less of a true fan to consider that he’s not really equipped for this level.

You act like it’s a binary choice in that you can’t enjoy the Europa win if you’re not 100% behind Ange for the long term.

That’s emotional claptrap!

I've just never seen any of our games against Brentford and thought "wow, I'd like some of that". I'm sure people could do a social media clip of nice combination plays from them in these matches, like you could for any team/manager, but no aspect of their play has ever really piqued my interest. The set-piece routines might be useful (if that's within his remit) I guess.

In fact that 2-0 win we had at their place this season, after we'd lost every game for what felt like an eternity, where all they did was just wildly hoof it into our box at every opportunity, was the one game that sticks out where I thought "you poor fuckers, if this is the sort of stuff you have to watch every week."

All teams play a bit of footy at times, and can knock the ball about. But his football to me seems pragmatic, fairly physical/athletic, direct, and whilst tactically sound it's a bit basic. Undoubtedly a competent manager who's done an excellent job with Brentford, who probably would offer some stability and raise the floor on the back of what Ange has done.... but I've never seen anything that would scream good style of play for a top club, or lead to some sumptuous football at the least.
Come on, the matches don’t count, have you not seen the tactical videos by Frank that have been posted?

Seriously, me neither, never been impressed by any of their games. They haven’t got close to a performance like Bournemouth at Newcastle or quite a lot of Bournemouth games really. Brighton too. Not convinced by him at all but will say predicting how a manager will do at a different club is a bit of a lottery

It's strange how people who gave the previous manager license to lose every bastard week for 18 months with complete impunity... Are now on twitter writing this potential new manager off as a PE teacher and the like before he's had a chance to lose even one game.
Should be a copy paste response to every Angetard that says a word about him now.

Can’t be arsed to go and look but I am willing to bet that a lot wrote Ange off when he was announced. Farmers league success, my Nan could win with Celtic etc

Pity the people who say they love him couldn’t pull their fingers out and get some more points. If we had finished 10th he would still be here.

Was in Spain and the parade and everyone with us knew he was being fired and were okay with it. This is just noise from the bewildered.

I was at the parade and I didn’t give his job a second thought, I was too busy enjoying myself. Quite a contrast from a lot of my visits to the stadium over the last year which were frankly shit.
