BINGO

And you know who will be the first ones on the Frank out train? The same melts who were the most aggressive Ange Outers.

You will 100% be the first to call Frank shit and want him out,

If not you have to change your username and entire persona on here.
I was Poch in when he got sacked, I was in favour of Mourinho seeing out the season, when the poll got posted on when Conte would be sacked after the Southampton game I voted "still in charge for Everton" and wanted him to stay.

It is beyond childish to make sweeping generalisations about people assuming they are going to be negative about whatever coach comes in because they weren't happy clapping the last one as he led us to relegation form over the course of the season. My support of the next manager continuing in his job will largely be predicated on, primarily, how entertaining the football is to watch, and also how well he achieves in proportion to the team he has at his disposal. If we are playing shit football and bottom half under Frank (don't think either will be the case) I will want him gone just like I wanted Ange gone. There is not some cult of negativity rubbing its hands with glee at the idea of shitting on our next manager and any perceived success. We want to be entertained by our club and we want to be proud of it. Nothing more.

Why do no other big clubs manage to play midweek without finishing 17th?

Is that the limit of your ambition? Relegation scraps?

You're the one who is happy to replace a trophy winning manager with somebody who has never won a trophy. Where is your ambition?

The chairmen of other big clubs back their managers properly and make sure they have enough experienced players in their squad so they can compete in all competitions. Our club has to try and compete with one arm tied behind it's back, thanks to Levy.

Not fussed with actually winning anything then?

Look, tbh that wasn’t aimed specifically at you. @DoomFunk has brand to maintain. This idea that it won’t be him calling for Franks head and calling him a cunt asap, is blatant hypocrisy

For Frank, he’s a decent coach and will do well until the new owners decide what they want to do. I don’t hate him and I’ll probably support him longer than most of the people giving it the big one about his appointment being a silver bullet to fix everything at the club.

I'm fucking fed up of paying thousands for a season ticket to watch us lose most weeks.

At the end of the day I don't decide who is the manager. I wouldn't be unhappy with Frank based on what I know of his methods. I'll certainly give him a chance, just like I did Poch, Nuno, Jose, Conte and Ange. I was one of the people on here when Ange was appointed saying he should be given the chance to prove himself. I'm sorry if the idea of getting behind the manager is a foreign concept.

Sorry to be the bearer of sad news mate, but there's no easy way of putting this. Ange has been sacked. He's gone. He is no longer. The horse has bolted. We've moved on. Hope you were sitting down.

Surely we want to win things too...

I will get behind the manager. But, there isn't a lot wrong with this squad, if it stays fit and gets a few decent midfielders added to it, Frank needs to hit the ground running. And if he doesn't, Levy is bang in trouble.

We've won 3 trophies in my entire lifetime, 2 of them were league cups and the first one was won when I was knee high to a grasshopper. You know what I really want? I want a team like Poch's Spurs back who are fucking scintillating to watch week on week, have ridiculously talented players coming from seemingly nowhere to become cult heroes, make us proud against our rivals who used to be able to talk mountains and mountains of shit with no reply (yeah it's nice sticking it to Woolwich right now but when the new season starts that's all out the window, they could never really pipe up at us under Poch), what I really want is a team like that who does manage to get over the line, because I promise you if that Poch team had won a trophy it would have meant a thousand times more than this one did tinged with uncertainty and tainted by the awful league form.

Fair enough. We are different then.

This squad are all legends now for me. The Poch squad just fill me with regret.

It’s about winning for me. Success is winning trophies not just being fun to watch and finishing 2nd

I sense a "cult" forming around him already....and he hasn't even been announced yet!
